J'zargo's quest seems to be bugged for me. He has done the first scene with Brelyana but now warning him about Cloette doesn't do anything. Specifically I am playing as a male MC and the dialog for warning J'zargo is just a loop, after which he doesn't attempt to move at all. Is there a script I could run from the console to fix the questline?

I did some digging and fixed this. The dialog was not correctly setting the quest stage to activate the scene. "setstage Hypno_College 25" fixed it for me.

How can I get random NPC hypnotizing the PC? I started the Jzargo's quest as a Female PC, and then he fucked me, but nothing else.

I seem to have some issues. I can hypnotize NPCs, I have the whole dialogue for the options, I can tell them to get naked, but when I tell them to do something (blow me, sit on a chair), the dialogue just stops.
This is my modlist, and I ran FNIS before starting it.

Imagine if this mod and the Bimbo's of Skyrim mod had a compatibility patch where you can get Bimbo corruption/Hypnotic Rewiring of acting as a bimbo for a bit from another npc who hypnotizes you. As well as crossing hypnosis functions of both mods between eachother.

The random event isn't happening for me, and so far all that's happened is jzargo hypnotised me and fucked me then nothing else. If I talk to NPCs I can say excuse me and have two options, the look at my pendant option just had the NPC say they don't have time, and the second option about free Hypno session they say they aren't going to fall for that. I am a female PC, is there more stuff to do with jzargo? How do I get NPCs too hypnotise me?

Like this mod a lot but I haven't had a single event happen naturally. Using the F4 debug I can get it to work, but that is it after about 10 hours of playtime I haven't gotten it without the debug. I see that there are different levels of hypnotists up to master, does that mean frequency/level of hypnosis will increase over time or am I reading too much into that? 

 

Also, is there a way edit Will? If I'm understanding the description, you start at 100 then you essentially always gain 1 Will (by refuse OR accept the attempt which is -2 but resist which is +3) unless you full on just choose for it to work. To get to the lower levels you would have to basically walk headfirst into it A LOT, and with how infrequent (assuming the mod isn't just broke in my build) the events are that would take a long while and is a bit nonimmersive to just accept 10 hypnos from strangers in a row without ever trying to resist. I'd rather start at around 40-50 so there is a chance to fail resists.

 

I did just clean up my load order so hopefully I fixed something that is broken. Really hoping to get this one working because I *really* like the idea and the events I've seen from the Debug have been great.

Is this mod even still being worked on or active? I love this mod so much and I love playing as a Male PC, as I like watching the effects on others. I only ask as it has been since July or June of 2024 that anything has been updated, I really am hoping for more effects and more commands to be added so I can do more with my followers and such.

Just spent a couple hours looking through the mod files cause I ran into the same issues. The J'zargo quest only happens if your player is male. If you're female then J'zargo just fucks you endlessly.

 

For hypnotizing NPC's, your speech skill must be at least 50 or else it will always fail. Would be nice if this was a persuasion check so it could succeed before lvl 50.

Seems everyone is having the same issue, the event of an NPC hypnotizing you just doesn't happen, or it's so rare that people start to think it's broken (and rightly so).

I loved the concept of this mod, sad to see it ain't working as intended.

Yeah I've only had it trigger once, and that took a lot of waiting, exiting and entering buildings. I hope this continues, with a few suggestions like choosing the NPCs gender

Hi guys, I tried to install this mod, I used Pandora and SLAL, but when I get into the game, after a few minutes my game crashes. I play in VR, I don’t know if it’s for that? Is it compatible with the game in VR?

i wish this was on ostim. I think that framework with its animations would blend very well with this type of mod.

Couple of issues but I think its generally working with the use of debug, my experience:
- Got the amulet, tried it out on a bunch of people, got nowhere with it, gues i need to increase speech skill
- Did J'zargo quest, he uses his illusion spell on Brelyna, scene starts. Talk to him after but he doesn't have much useful to say other than, be careful with it. Quest kinda hangs there with no "quest complete" notification, but I get the spell.
- I then assume that you cast the spell and then try and hypnotize in the same way as before, but doesnt work. I try the debug button (f4) a few times, but it doesnt work. Its only when i use the console to check if there was any quest stages that i find that the mind control spell actually summons an invisible weapon, and youre supposed to hit victims with it.
- After hitting someone, the debug menu comes up 4 times in a row (from before), and 4 NPCs swarm my character. They wont leave me alone until i force an SL scene with each of them. After this pressing f4 works, and triggers an approach from an NPC, which as far as I can tell so far works flawlessly. I haven't yet seen an approach without the use of the debug, but now that things seem to be moving along now, theres hope.

Ran a count in np++ and a 6 minute session had 7100 of this error.

After reading through the posts here it seems that this mod is either abandoned or just really broken.
I will remove it from my load order, but it doesn't seem like it's that hard to fix the scripts.
I suppose if in some reasonable amount of time it becomes obvious that it's abandoned I could try fixing it, but won't do anything until I know the author won't/can't fix it.

The author says everyone has permission to do anything as long as it's not locked behind a paywall so you might as well fix it. 

 

Hopefully someone will pick this up and continue it since the mod author is MIA. There's lots of potential from this mod. Even an NPC that removes hypnotised triggers (like PC masturbating at noon) for a high gold fee, plus a dodgy "cheap" guy who says he'll do the same thing but there's no guarantee. I would do it myself but I have no modding experience
