adoiad Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 Can someone tell me what is causing this effect to show up around npcs sometimes. I think it may be related to arousal but I'm not sure. If someone knows what mod it could be and what the effect is called so I could disable it that would be great b/c it's annoying. plugins.txt
anjenthedog Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 Sorry, what effect are you trying to show with that snapshot? Facelight? No nipples?

Grey Cloud Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 Have you looked at the magic tab to see if you have any active effects?
TheVolcanoGodess Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 Might need more information to try to help you out. Do you know if it occurs during any specific scenario with the NPCs? Does is happen when you are near a specific proximity? Do you have any passive effects (either from armors or otherwise) that might affect living beings?

Dude I said it's npcs so that doesn't apply. Or well I guess it could if it was an effect I had on them. But either way it doesn't show in my active effects. 12 minutes ago, TheVolcanoGodess said: Do you know if it occurs during any specific scenario with the NPCs? It commonly happens while doing sex acts around multiple people and some get the effect others not. I did find something promising, I looked in ABBA mcm and found a nymphomaniac box and unticked it. I haven't seen the smoke effect on npcs since then but it's a little early to confidently say that's what caused it. I'll just play normally and if it doesn't reappear I can confidently say it was the culprit. Edited June 13, 2024 by adoiad 1

Image is so dark on my display that I missed it. I've seen it too, in the past, but not in quite a while, likely from unchecking something otherwise innocuous but undesired. If it was the nympho one, as the OP indicates above, it was likely because of that annoying "so and so is now a nympho" announcement (often several, one after another) and the accompanying audio blurb, every time you go into a town or city, rather than for suppressing any NPC buff visual. Basically I was asking to see if you had anything on that affected NPCs. Although it seemed like you found the solution, or at least a temporary fix. ^_^

Basically I was asking to see if you had anything on that affected NPCs. Nah you phrased it fine. I was referring to what Grey Cloud said about checking the magic tab. Initially I said it wasn't relevant because npcs had the effect, not my player. Then I corrected myself because it might be possible my player has an effect cast on npcs but as I said it didn't show in active effects. 15 minutes ago, TheVolcanoGodess said: Although it seemed like you found the solution, or at least a temporary fix. ^_^ Yeah I hope so, I have yet to see it so far but time will tell. Thanks for lending advice either way.😁
