BHUNP texture error in Bodyslide

Hey folks, it's me again with a error. This time, my Bodyslide there is a BHUNP texture error, it makes the nipples look like that horrible print and the waist is also a problem . I believe that the problem is directly with BHUNP since, with CBBE and 3BA, this never happened.

 

Has this error ever occurred here? Do you know how to solve it? Please help

Was that what happens when you put a skin on the wrong body? Like a skin for cbbe ONLY and put it on UNP or UNPB? Maybe double check you downloaded the right skin for the body you want

 

Ive seen this before, but that was years ago, sorry cant be more help

I'm new to bodyslide and I don't know about the issue of skins for different bodies. I simply installed BHUNP, started bodyslide and selected the option that gives the body, nothing more.

Ok, I was assuming some things

Lemme ask these:

You installed BHUNP body mod, have you downloaded a UNP compatible skin mod?

Is this only in bodyslide? Do people look fucked up in game?

Are you using Mod Organizer?

I'm having the same issue. I've disabled all my CBBE files and installed a UNP skin but I still get the same mismatching textures and it appears in game too. Did you ever find a solution? (Also yes, I switch from CBBE to BHUNP and I'm using Vortex)

The solution has already been posted here, multiple times even.

 

Query your mod manager for which mod provides this file:

textures\actors\character\female\femalebody_1.dds

 

That's the source of your CBBE body texture. Remove that mod or change the load order such that you end up with a UNP-compatible skin.

If I remember correctly back ~2019-2020 when this was a bigger deal (when BHUNP was just coming onto the scene and some were migrating to BHUNP), I believe it's as simple as swapping out the default CBBE-family textures from  /textures/actors/character/female/ with UNP family textures.

 

EDIT: warning, doing so will alter the texture used for any character NPC or follower that shares the Player's original body type, so be warned.

 

I'd recommend creating a backup folder off that path, to store the textures that will be replaced first, as a just-in-case.

 

Basically, anything .dds get moved out (ideally to that backup folder) and then swapped for the BHUNP textures.

 

If you use any body-type specific addons like weight/muscle mods, you'll probably have to swap out to existing BHUNP variants (if they exist idk) or create them yourself. 

 

You might be able to simply install BHUNP textures to overwrite, but not sure as I run a dual cbbe-3BBB/BHUNP game and do that stuff manually
