The problem is the error notification is just floating in the middle of the screen

Ah... I didn't realize that the OAR warning pops up in the center of the screen like that.

Unfortunately, I don't think we can support this.
I don't know much about the behavior of OAR and, crucially, I've lost most of the source for version 0.21, so I can't estimate the exact cause.

Sorry :(

Got it to work, for some reason game crashes if I have the mod checked, but it still shows up in game after i built it in bodyslide.

Only problem i found in my character has an extra set of feet below them when they have a spreader bar on their legs. I am guess thats because of another mod though.

I realize that this is two months later but I figure if anyone else is having the same issue this will help.

In my case the problem was that Devious Newcomer (for some people this is the first time they'll see the new version of the hobble skirts since it's an alt start mod) uses the updated armor for its skirts but doesn't hide the feet in the esp file.

This will likely be an issue for any other mod that uses the hobble dresses for their own purposes rather than using a vanilla DD armor that is properly patched.

If you are having an issue with Devious Newcomer I have included a file to fix the Debtor/Beggar dresses.

If you are having a problem with another mod that uses the armor you can correct it by using xEdit to find the Armor Addon associated with said armor and adding "37 - Feet" to the BOD2 First Person Flags like so:

Wow that is great, Thanks for the help.

Now I just need to figure out which mod is causing this...

I play on masterstroke because its super simple to install and takes no effort to get running, but for someone who isnt a master at mods/modlists its also such a pain to fix issues like this, because it could be one of 700 mods, guess I will just have to do some trial and error for the extra mods I have installed on top of Masterstroke to hopefully work that out. Because this is a really great mod but the 4 feet really does ruin it for me.

Thanks again, really appreciate the input.

Yup, I've used MS myself, I know what you mean.

If you type player.showinventory in the console you should be able to find the formid of the dress you're wearing - search for that formid at the top left of xEdit to find the armor record. Then you can ctrl-click on the armoraddon listed in that armor to find the thing you need to fix, from there you copy that to an esl-flagged esp and there's your patch. IDK if I'm telling you stuff you already know, just putting this out there for anyone else tryna find the problem. :D

Let me know if you have a problem, I'll try to help.

p.s. is your profile pic a one-off or is it from a comic? Just curious. Thanks!

Yo, incredible work. Now I gotta find a way to get this equipped as part of gameplay..

Anything that has the latex dresses works for me.

For mods that work great with this, obviously enchanted chests or cursed loot, deviously vanilla, and devious lore. All great ways to have it happen.

Hi. I must be doing something wrong. I installed the mod in MO2, I have it overwrite everything that belongs to DD, I re-ran bodyslide and Nemesis - but the hobble dresses still look/act the same. Running NG 3.7.

Excellent work! Does this just have a replacement version? Can it be added to DD as a new item?

I would love to see this as an addon and not a replacement

So your saying that you are creation it? I love your designs, but I also like mods not to replace, but to add to. should try to make this compatible to cursed loot for the events within that mod.

Yes of course, the version on this page was purely for personal use and was meant to be a replacement.

the version currently in development is not intended to replace anything, and the ultimate goal is to integrate with DDNG.

DCL will require a patch, but it will probably be compatible.

So I seen another charity device that come from LE, someone converted it SE/AE, How would you go about adding something like that to curse loot events? such as it being part of the trap system and in chests and inventories of NPC, distributed by cursed loot?

Spoiler

Depending on how DCL is implemented, the implementation period will vary, but the DCL compatible patch will be in It's in my work queue

and will be in the same patch format as above.

My current prioritization is as follows

1. basic spreader bar device implementation [testing]
2. implement additional variations of the spreader bar (versions combined with different straitjacket designs)
3. implement color and material variations -> 1.0 release
4. develop patches for various existing DD modules based on 1.0 (DCL, DDE..)

In conclusion, PATCH will be made, but it is difficult at the moment.

But personally, I don’t like these latex dresses or straitjackets at all. And I’m glad that there is a person who makes a worthy alternative to them. So, how many people - so many opinions.

We're just not capable of making mods and editing them. One has appeared that can help people like me replace or get rid of items that we don’t like.

For author of this mod: Hold on brother, your cause is just;)
