I'm thinking of just removing the Parasite portion at this point because FO4 DD is in such a state that many mods don't account for DD quest items and pretty much fuck-up any attempt to make a DD quest. If only it would be possible to check if the Parasite was removed via cheating methods, so your Mod could reequip it.

Thanks to screenshots, I'm specify the exact text of message appeared, when I tried to unequip some devices from Anastasia: "You lack the key to unlock butt plug" in english. Tried that. It's what causes the parasite to not fully unequip sometimes. DD RC9 has added a remove DD item function that respects the DD Quest Item keyword. But if a mod hasn't been updated to use that function and uses the same function w/in the DD framework I use to remove DD quest items 🤷♂️

I've combed through this thread, but I haven't found anything similar. (Please forgive me if I missed a post.) Until the last couple days, CDDER has worked absolutely fine. Now, the mod seems to work up until the moment the devices are actually equipped. I'll link a video showing what I mean, but basically, everything appears to function exactly as it should--when my character triggers a trap, I see the gas, hear the SFX, and she falls over. The game loads a moment, and then she gets back up again...with no devices. (https://youtu.be/dVBm8wGevqI). I'm guessing that it's an issue with a setting, an armor slot, or my load order, but as far as I know, I haven't changed anything. I removed the last mod I added (DD Workbench Unlocker) to see if that conflicted. No dice. I've also tried reinstalling the mod, activating a trap naked, running "unequip all" in the console to see if a device lock got stuck somewhere, enabling and disabling "strip actor," changing the percentage of KFD vs. DD, and enabling and disabling follower support. If so, have you tried saving your current load order and mod list. Then load in older versions that you know worked? Can you go back to an older save and will traps work correctly? Are you a Premium user and has vortex auto updated a mod? Did you have a parasite trap trigger and try to remove it manually?

I ended up totally uninstalling both your mod and Kimi's, loading a recent save, and then reinstalling both. When I loaded up and ran the test again, it worked! If you're interested, it may well have been a parasite issue. You reminded me that, although I didn't try to remove one myself, I had a moment a while back where DD equipped a harness over it, and that removed the parasite. I went back to a save from before that happened, but when I ran the test there, CDDER didn't trigger at all. Weird, right? There have been a lot of FO4 updates since it was released Nov 2017.

When your mod equipts the suit it tends to only equipt the "Plug A". Is there way to change that, I would prefer the "Jetpack"?

It may be a while before I get back to this mod. You (or anyone for that matter) can definitely open it up in the CK and customize it.

I may have missed a dependency check (And it can handle NPCs much better than DD). Next try SkimpyArmorKeywordResource.esm for the same reason. Missed dependency check in the scripts. Three things stood out. I went ahead and did the uncheck half of the mods debugging until it worked, and discovered that one of three things may have done it: 1) I had Steyr AUG - 1.0 - 2K mod uninstalled but "Modern Weapon Replacer - Steyr AUG A3 - FOMOD Installer" running, which may have caused a conflict. 2) LOOT --> Sort Plugins 3) AAF Started - I have a separate mod with those files (eg: F4SE/Plugins/AAF_game_started_2025_11_4_23_58_37). Not having any loaded and allowing a fresh one to form may have fixed it. Now it's working as expected. This is a relief because I had a custom mod I made while back ago which I was hoping wasn't conflicting. This custom mod is "Destructive Devices" (attached) which turns some DD items into deadly BDSM traps. For example: * Golden Chastity Bra is now radioactive and will pump rads into your heart until you either remove it or your heart pops. * Inflatable plugs now have bulbs filled with liquid nitrogen instead of air. If not removed, your last breath will be an icy one. * Some hoods are now airtight and filled with water. A horrible way to go out where the last thing you see is nothing. * Radioactive plugs, chain harness, etc. I wanted to make a new torture device that will electrocute you but haven't gotten around to it yet. It would be nice to have a metal plug that fries your pussy. I did make one for Skyrim and oh man, the visuals are crazy! Heroine is left to helplessly twitch on the ground as the shock and electricity animation pulses through her slowly, then you hear the heart beat go faster and faster as you are closer to death, and bam! Ahem, .... but I digress. The aim here was to make the actor panic and go crazy looking for keys ASAP or at least have enough resources to survive (eg stim packs, rad away, etc). I went ahead and did the uncheck half of the mods debugging until it worked, and discovered that one of three things may have done it: 1) I had Steyr AUG - 1.0 - 2K mod uninstalled but "Modern Weapon Replacer - Steyr AUG A3 - FOMOD Installer" running, which may have caused a conflict. 2) LOOT --> Sort Plugins 3) AAF Started - I have a separate mod with those files (eg: F4SE/Plugins/AAF_game_started_2025_11_4_23_58_37). That's just my personal preference but it's why I install combat defeat mods like AAF Violate. So, if the hood is airtight and filled with water, and the player has the Aquaboy/girl perk, what happens? Does it turn them into a Nina Mazursky?

The character can get a mortal danger in a few cases, but this danger must be stretched in time and must give an opportunity to rescue with the proper actions. Else, it a simple killing, not a game. 1

Exactly. It's the reason I like Unforgiving Devices It turned: press a button -> play an animation -> pass/fail into an actual game itself.

I can't imagine how much work went into make that mod but it really is top-tier, the traps + new items arent needed at all but if anyone made an equivalent of that for fallout 4 it would be incredible. 1

I am getting the rolling notif spam, but past that, no event is ever firing, even when turned up to 100%, I have enabled 'Show rolls' but nothing pops up for that either I am using 169 version, and have RC9 I have all the requirements I have also done the reset console commands Also This mod is at the bottom of my load order Edited December 9, 2025 by pingbi146

Each of the required mods will also have their own requirements like MCM, F4SE, etc. Have you gone through that branching hierarchy of required mods and made sure everything is there? #2 - Check if you can see this mods MCM menu. #3 - Check if the quests are running. I disabled armbinders Rogg DD Item Manager yet somehow it still got stuck on me when looting a container. Trouble is, I can't get rid of the darn thing. After 100 struggles nothing happened, and about the same amount of trying the second option, which just says "you don't have anything in your inventory that you can use to escape your restraints". Going into RC9 DD Enchanting --> Debug and choosing Force remove ALL Devious Devices does not remove the armbinder or the earlier locked-on posture collar. Pip-boy is inaccessible; pressing tab pulls up the 3 choices to Struggle, Try to reach something you can use to free yourself, or remain Stay Bound. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Did SQVs, all enabled, all running, all stage 0 I even waited until leaving vault 111 to enable the mod as suggested. Have reset Via Commands and the Kicker. I have all requirements of required mods. I feel that this is a problem with the NG game version and the AAF problems that come with it, but I can't quite figure it out Edited December 12, 2025 by pingbi146 Additions
Vallarie Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 Does anyone know why these devious devices (stockings and corset in this case) are not sized properly? I downloaded FC conversion of devious devices for RC 8+, used BodySlide and Outfit Studio to rebuild everything, made sure to associate my preset with everything during the Save As process, and selected "FC" everything for Batch Build. The corset is waaaay too big for her, and the stockings can fit two legs into one hole.
