We ended up discussing it over on his Discord. Apparently it's conflicting with another mod or mods. Probably a UI mod.

I had to drop every single mod I had from scoob1098 for this very reason. All of them, no exceptions, were written in a way that conflicted.
All of IncogACC's work is just fine. I'm still able to use the Pekomama menu and all character portrait animations with zero problems.
This one Caverabbit mod just accidentally exposed a lot of sloppy coding on the part of some other creators, though.

Now I need to hunt for Loading Screen mods and/or other UI mods that don't do the same. I had to remove all of those too 😧

edit* : Fixed something relating to using tattoo outside of Forte State
edit 2: The Ini is just a change i did tweaking hair color for Lupa's forte circuit and does a faux strip activation when stacking her forte

edit 2 (uses mentioned ini): I didnt like the nipple colors, so I added more bloated textures for lighter colors

Hotkey (Toggle Nipple Color) : 5

 

"Eyes are bugged!" Use RabbitFX 5.13, Rabbit 5.14 has a few line changes that does that, otherwise I tried and failed

Redownload, I mention that I've fixed an issue using tattoos while not in max forte and reuploaded a newer one,

Just to make sure, did you dl the one i've posted or IncogAcc's? The issue here is a failed call to Cutoutmask when running rabbitFX, so it posted the images/tattoos without clipping the excess.

in other worlds, you need to input the mask back before you called rabbitfx,
"
[TextureOverrideComponent3]
...
ps-t18 = ResourceCutoutMask (before calling)
...
run=CommandList\RabbitFX\run
"

if you want an extreme bandaid fix

1) Open mod.ini
2) Ctrl + F,   Type in TextureOverrideComponent3

 

3) look for "run = CommandListOverrideSharedResources" or "drawindexed = 504, 79125, 0"


4) copy and paste "ps-t18 = ResourceCutoutMask" after any of those 2 on a new line
5) save.

HA! SWEET VALIDATION AT LAST!!!

I was bummed out about the whole "performance is more or less the same" but I can accept the performance thing since my solution is more feature rich, more expandable, more stable and now we have a real world instance of it also being more compatible with mods! USE SHADERS UI MODDERS, THEY AREN'T SCARY, YOU CAN EVEN JUST USE THE UI PS I WROTE! 

 

Also I've seen Rabbit spout that line about PS' breaking every update yet in the half a year or so I've been playing around with the UI shader, it changed once and the team preview shader has never changed so I'd say it's pretty stable, especially since if it does break, the process of updating is very quick and easy on my end.

Edit: This might actually serve as good motivation. The trigger that made me so bummed out was actually Scoob's UI mods, because I was converting them to use the UI shader for better performance only to find that it wasn't actually worse than my solution, I dropped the whole idea because I didn't see any value in it, but if those mods are causing issues, then I might need to revisit that and convert his mods so they can work without conflicts.
