dds. I was messing around with a makeup mod and realized that the dds file that I assume is for the face, was in the old hair folders that got replaced. In everything except the 05 Leotard variant. So I just took that file and moved it over to body and tada. That said, I think I did run into yet another issue. Sometimes, when Forte is full, her hair becomes black. So uh, yeah.

ya i noticed the missing dds file after check it myself + the black hair or vanish lol, guess the modder have to fix it himself.

I looked at several Carlotta NPC mods and they all have meshes different from originals, so most probably the only way is through blender.

Alright but I wish modders could at least explain what are the differences that require changes through Blender. I just find it odd that she's the only character that needs a different version for the cutscenes compared to all other characters, even the other Renascita ones ( Roccia for example ) From a technical pov I really don't see what is making this system mandatory for her. She needs a special Skeleton different from the playable one for her cutscenes maybe ?

Just got back into the game and trying to use some Jinhsi mods. They haven't gotten an update in 6 months and don't work at all. Is there anything I can do to make them compatible with the current version? I know ZZZ has an exe that you use to update mods does wuwa have the same thing?

All 3 Of these work if you use the toggle key. By default they're off which is probably why so many people said it doesn't work, even though it does.

 

Edit: Actually I can't get the store background one to work, but everything else works including the Lunite icons being replaced with Zani.

The store bg hash is "7a7c096f". Change it under "[TextureOverrideStoreBg]" in .ini

Actually, you don't need version 7.6. 
The mod files are encrypted, so you need a special dll file from the original creator in your WWMI folder to decrypt them and make it work in this one, if you are lucky it might work with the WWMI 7.6 you shared, in some cases it works but I don't understand what the reason is

 

 

SO IF YOU CAN GET THE DECRYPTED VERSION OR YOU CAN DECRYPT IT DO IT AND SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE.

Thing is, XXMI uses file verification and this modder is using modified dlls, so XXMI refuses to work with it. This is most likely the reason why this modder doesn't use XXMI. It's a very shady business imo.

Anyway if you really want the answers I may suggest you ask SpectrumQT (creator of wwmi/xxmi) on banana or github. He is the actual hero of modding after all.

Well I'm not a modder and don't know technical details. But who can know why kuro devs decided to make her that way, maybe somebody knows...

I just edited the whole thing to save everyone some trouble. Pick what you want and all that.
