it's the other way around, modding is the problem. And making money from it is so much worse because they take things that don't belong to them and sell them. Final Fantasy is the best example of this, that's why it was almost banned because people made money from it.

you should read the terms and conditions before you write something like that XD.

That's why I'm glad that in Wuwa they don't see it as bad as in Genshin ec.

Are you kidding me? Kuro's other games also have official paid skins mod, even Genshin Impact. If the official ban on mods is not because of official paid skins, the number of people using mods will be in the minority, as long as you do not destroy game data. Also, if you don’t like it, just shut up. You have no right to accuse others. This is for people who love sharing.

That's exactly why I don't care when some "poor" modder guys couldn't squeeze in more money from their paywall mods, but messing around with official paid skins could become a real problem if left unchecked.

It’s really ridiculous. Suppose someone sells it. Instead of blaming the person who sells it, you blame the mod author instead? It's the same problem. You don't blame the person who sells it, but you scold the person who shared it here. I'm really ashamed of you people.

say again whoever gives the mod away for free is doing everything right, whoever takes money for it only ensures that in the end it will perhaps be banned here too if it gets too much for them.

Because they make money that doesn't belong to them.

 

 
And if someone buys mods and distributes them, it's up to each individual, no reason to be insulting.

Strongly agree, If you don't like it, you can choose to shut up instead of complaining here like a resentful woman, let alone blaming every mod author or sharer. Please maintain a minimum of respect.

Agree, little side note to this though:

Having optional 'Donations' doesn't seem to annoy anyone and timed ones sort of annoys most people but there not as bad as the paid walled ones, the more annoying ones are the ones who change links after every update or month so nobody can get the mod for free, even after buying it.

Also, Paid mods is also how mods for games die, if someone figures out how to mod a game then adds a paywall to their mod and also doesn't share how they did it, like most modders will share, then the modding community (and interest) for that game will disappear. Sure mods for some of the smaller, least interesting games die anyways but theres sometimes some interest still around... Doesn't mean the modder can try fast track it by being scummy XD

agree. But first of all, even using official skin mods is a personal behavior and does not cause damage to game data. The official will not ban the use of mods because of this. Those who sell it are the ones who should be scolded. This is true for every game, including Genshin and FF14. Again to others, if you don't like it, just shut up, please don't blame the sharer and mod author, no one cares about your opinion.

After thinking a little, i gonna use mods only when playing long session.

 

Well, how can i fix the meshes/textures becoming all weirds when i use gamemod manager on Carlotta mods ? or with Namespace Merge when swapping ? I noticed somes mods cannot be used for merging or it make all bugged asf.
