You are not wrong these people are either misinformed or oblivious. If you don't straight up say in multiplayer that you have skin mods and they don't report you nothing will happen because everything is client side. Noone you're playing with even has an idea that you have skin mods.

Kinda long ass scroll and all for nothing because your images are too wide. The resulting image should be in 696x960 and even then parts on the sides and top will be cut off and you'll end up seeing only about 465x800 of the original 696x960 picture. At least make AI art that's in these rough resolutions. Afterwards learning how to cut and convert the pictures isn't hard.
