Does anyone know what specific changes you need to make for pictures for them to work for these sorts of mods? I know they need to be dds but when you put those in they always look really washed out. I'm assuming you need to increase the saturation but I'm not exactly experienced with editing pictures and I don't know the specific changes needed.

In the paint.net program when you save a dds file it has two options, "BC7 (sRGB, DX 11+)" and "BC7 (Linear, DX 11+)" I havent done much texture editing for wuthering waves, but from the little I did for genshin Linear works best for character Icons or UI related images, but sRGB was the better option for models.

So I only recently got into modding in general. Learned how to extract models through the WWMI FrameDumps.

After importing the Clown Echo and a few other Echoes and dinking with them a bit, I turned my attention to Margherita (the new Pizza NPC).

Not sure why, but just by importing her base model into Blender and then exporting a blank mod for testing purposes, it seems to break my modded Carlotta textures.
Do Margherita and Carlotta share meshes/textures/hashes? Is there a simple way to fix it or is it a bit more advanced?

I can only say that if you use mods, keep your hands off multiplayer^^ it only causes problems anyway. Unless you test something with friends, everything else is your own fault. As I said, don't use mods in multiplayer + multiplayer events.

my problem in wuwa is that I have a buggy quest^^ where you're supposed to turn into a rabbit but the NPC doesn't complete the quest XD

So, to my understanding. I thought you could use skin mods and not actual game altering mods in multiplayer because no one can see the mods you equip on your side. or am I wrong and people can see your skin mods? Just don't share your UID with people in images when you take screenshots of your mods right?

It seems that what happens is that there are hackers or people with exploit mods in the multiplayer, and if you happen to be in the same lobby as one of these, they will put you in the same box as them and you will get a ban even if you are not there using exploits

Skin mods will never be visible to others nor will they be able to be detected due to the nature of how they're generated. It's essentially just an overlay as it's rendered through your GPU, not modifying game files.

The person on twitter who got banned had a booster installed and had it running while playing, which triggered the anticheat.
