Whollupwhozit Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I deleted my entire Skyrim due to reasons that aren't necessary now and I'm thinking of reinstalling, but I don't want to give Todd another unearned money (No Todd, your CC shits ain't worth shit)

MadMansGun Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 you will have the AE exe when you reinstall. 1
Just Don't Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 DLC acquisition has nothing to do with SKSE compatibility. That depends entirely in your executable, and like madmans said, you'll have an "AE exe" aka a 1.6.1170 executable. So if you try to use SKSE plugins or SKSE itself for 1.5.97 you'll crash or the mods won't work.
Gameplayer Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Best practice, Have a dedicated SSD drive only for Skyrim and your mods library of stuff you like. Use Mod Organizer. Change the steam manifest readme file for Skyrim to "read only" this absolutely prevents updates until you change it back. This way you can keep a working mods list for years.
