Question about JKs Skyrim AIO mod

My FPS was fine, no stuttering. I then downloaded JKs Skyrim AIO for the cities, and know I get a lot of stuttering near or in the cities. Is there anyway to fix this without removing the mod?

  1. Edit the mod to reduce the amount of things being added by it = less draw calls. Perhaps there is a patch that already does this, or an alternate version of the mod with less stuff for less powerful systems.
  2. Buy a new and more powerful CPU = able to handle more draw calls without noticeable performance hits (you can still get into a draw call limit due to the engine and its own limitations).

Would I go into SSE edit?

xEdit or CK should do fine. But honestly if you need to ask you likely won't know what to do and probably break something. Try it, if it doesn't work you can always search for an alternative/patch or something.

Same here. Not worth the time and effort of editing the esp when there are so many good alternatives out there.

I've still got JK's installed but I overwrote several of the towns with CleverCharff's and mrf's overhauls. I'll be removing JK's eventually.
