So my Skyrim AE 1.1.1130 is missing a lot of textures and crashes. So I went into SSEdit under {00} SkyrimSE.exe/Player Reference/00000014<PlayerRef>

And this is what I saw

-Record Header

-Signature            PLYR

-Data Size             10

-Recored Flags      None

-FormID                 PlayerRef {PLYR:00000014}

-Version Control Info1   None

-Form Version               44

-Version Control Info 2   00 00

-EDID- Editor ID             PlayerRef

-PLYR- Player                 Player "Prisoner" {NPC_00000007}

If anyone can help me figure this out and get my Skyrim back to normal, it would be grately appreciated!

I'd recommend you to update to 1170 as this 1130 version has broken Steam integration (achievements, controller and probably something more broken) and it's not really popular since 1170 was released (with slightly less bugs and way more mod support since it's the current version). You gain little to nothing from staying in that version and it could be related to the crashes you mention.

Bad game install? missing some requirement or incorrectly installed mods? Without a crash log it's pure guess work.

That's the player reference. It looks like that. What about it?

Ok well I can't provide a crash log because it won't give me one. And I know I installed that correctly because it worked before several times. So the textures are still missing and it crashes upon loading the game. I even went into steam and verified integrity and updated to 1.1.1170. I did alter something in SSE Engine Fixes to true instead of false.

Some CTDs don't produce a crash, specially true if you're crashing even before reaching the main menu. Those crashes are likely caused by missing masters, incompatible SKSE plugins and BSA files for LE in a SE game. Also in the later game versions (1130/1170) we can add to this the achievements patch from engine fixes being incompatible (thus needing to disable it). On top of that you need to check if all your SKSE plugins are compatible with 1170 and the latest SKSE (usually your mod manager or engine fixes itself should throw an error message detailing all the DLL files failing to load).

Missing textures is a clear sign a mod is looking for files that aren't there (so either a bad game install which shouldn't be your case since you recently verified files, or a missing mod or incorrect mod install). You can identify the files in question with More informative Console, just open the console click the object with the missing texture and check the info panels in there for the full filepath of said object (it should point you to a nif file, then you can find the correlated texture file or at least check which mod is adding that nif file).

This is what my game looks like. I do have more informative console. Oh, wait do I have to play Skyrim through steam first to get the textures back?

That's a total mess. I don't see the point in checking exact nif files when your entire game looks like that. It's likely several texture mods or the base game files. Now, I said this shouldn't be an issue if you just verified files in Steam, but perhaps you have old BSA files from the game installed as some mods or something. A properly installed game should never look like that. To do a quick test you could start the game without SKSE and without any of your mods installed (aka without MO2, or puring or whatever Vortex does to flush all the modded files and hopefully restore a vanilla install).

And no, this doesn't mean you need to play Skyrim through steam to get your textures back. This is only to check if your game files are okay without mods in the way. If your game still looks like that then it's your game install. If it doesn't then it's one or several of your mods and you'll have to reinstall them to fix whatever that is.

I finally got a crash log and a crash report. So I went into my folder not steam and clicked on SkyrimSE launcher, the textures where are all there and accounted for. But when I go through MO2  and then through SKSE the textures are missing.

So for the 3rd time. It's related to your mods. Either enable them in groups and see which ones are the ones causing the issue. Or simply reinstall anything that covers a large portion of your textures/meshes. You're also very short of RAM and VRAM. Depending on the amount of mods you use you could very well go over your 8gb RAM or 3gb of VRAM. The only way to confirm this is to use a program to monitor system usage (MSI Afterburner + Rivatuner, I think the new nVidia overlays also give you an on-screen display of what's your cpu/gpu/ram usage while playing).

So it's either a very bad mod(s) installations or you're adding more mods than what your system can handle.

Ok, I have a different question, is there supposed to be a textures folder in the skyrim se directory folder?

I have Mod Organizer 2

And does MO2 offer any signs that something may be amiss?

I'm guessing that the body is BHUNP so at the very least you are missing the texture from whatever clothing mod you use.

Her head mesh/nif appears to be missing so what head is she supposed to be using?

There again part of her face is there . . . Her eyes textures are also missing so which mod would that be?

As for whatever is going on with the ASLAL cell . . .

I'm with @Just Don't that this is lack of RAM and VRAM.
