My deepest gratitude - broken mods was the problem.
I think atrocious Windows OneDrive was the reason of that.

If you open up the Barbershop, the menu is too long and you can't exit it without discarding your choices. Is there any way around this, i've tried using better barbershop, and while that does sort of work, it also makes character models look very weird.

Hi, unfortunately, better barbershop is probably the only way to go.

You can try mess with gui scaling, that might be enough to let you save.

You can also try remove some of the CBO categories

So you can try remove some of these files, that means fewer categories in barbershop, and might let you close the window. (but ofc you wont be able to change these things then in barbershop)

 

I pretty much always use better barbershop, and dont think it should cause issues, can you share a load order and error.log, and maybe a picture about the issue?

I've tried multiple other combinations, and while some usage of the barbershop can make people look normal again, clothes don't seem to work at all for the player character, but does work for other characters, and the cause of it seems to be CBO Unofficial Base itself, i tried running with just the following:

And even then clothes were not working, didn't work while having the CBO POD Base with it either

Can you help me when the opening loading screen finish, there a notification about "some mod overwrite window_character.gui" and suggest me to disable some mod, but idk which one is. My load order is same as you mention in the loverlab. I able to click new game but unable to play the game. The game keep crashing and close automatically.

In the loading screen after i click "Start Game" when the percentage reach 100% suddenly the game crash ang close automatically. i don't know why?? 😑

The man in the middle having the leaf is clearly indicating some issue with the mod.

 

I tried again, and for me its not complaining about window character gui, so not sure why you get that warning

Updated the PA Patch.

 

There should be an error.log, its always generated, not just on crash. So after exiting, it should be there in the log folder.

So there's a glitch in the animation of 'make love'. There's a lot of black lines in the bodies of the characters when they make sex. Something is missing in my playset?

Hi, its expected, the game doesnt support drawing 2 characters in one picture, so its actually a 40 pictures drawn on top of each other, each time a small slice of the picture going from further away to the camera to close, and the black lines are where these pictures meet. Its done this way, so that it looks 3D in a sense that the 2 characters can cover each other, other wise you would end up with 1 character just drawn on top of the other character. 

If you want to avoid the black lines, you need to use the carnal court option, there its a proper 3D scene, so no black lines.

 

Also, you should put CFP above Carnalitas, and there are also some CBO patches for CFP:

I read that POD's UI can break quite easily from additional UI mods, and Physical Attributes and the POD PA patch are the first things I removed to successfully get it working again. Does the POD PA patch need updated?

Experiencing another bug using CBO with POD, that the shapeshifter powers don't work if they're a mesh swap. You can switch to them in the barbershop, but not by actually using the powers.

Can you check again? I think the patch was outdated.

According to POD discord it shouldn't be used with other mods even with compatches since there will always be something broken. It's unfortunate cause CBO and carnalitas feel like they are made for it.

Well horny me tried playing regardless and i've unfortunately had one particular plague event work incorrectly, tried changing the load order and couldn't fix it. There could be other stuff that's broken that i don't know about yet.

Your PoD PA Patch update did resolve the issue with hiring courtiers to positions. Not sure about the shapeshifter thing because I skipped the Coronations updates to the game and mods. I will be updating my build for the Asia update though, so I'll test your next batch of updates. One of the big issues between PoD and PA isn't in gui files, it's that PoD overwrites PA's changes to the connection between prowess and musculature, and breaks the inheritance of all the PA strength traits.
