Every mod has a support section accessible right beneath the Download button. There is also a dedicated Sexlab technical support section of this site. There is no need to post queries to the Request section.

1 If from nexus, Create a Nexus account. (afaik required for downloads)

2 Navigate to the main Skyrim Special edition "new mods" page (or whichever grouping you want to see).

3 Click on a given mod entry to open its unique mod page (Ex: Sky UI).

 

If you use Vortex....

 

4 Optional - Open Vortex  (I do it this way because I want to be able to monitor the download progress and act on it as soon as it completes that download).

5 Optional - Navigate to the Vortex mods tab (this is where the action will take place when installing a mod).

6 Navigate back to the mod page.

7 Carefully read the description and the requirements and follow any special directions given. If there are requirements (ie support mods)  you don't have installed, they should (ideally) be installed first.

8 Click the vortex link to start download. Vortex will automatically begin the installation process once download is complete.

9 Follow the prompts in the upper right hand corner of vortex.

 

If not, Or if you're downloading from Lover's Lab, or if you use vortex but don't want to use vortex (edit: via the nexus/vortex interlink) for whatever reason (I often don't use vortex for Racemenu presets and similar stuff since it's such a simple structure (jslot file, dds file and a nif file).

5 Click the manual button next to the vortex button and download to your system (wherever).

6 Use your mod manager to "manually" install the mod from the local folder where it was downloaded to.
