Yeah I read about that, I'm part of 2 Discords, Sims after Dark and Deaderpool's MCCC mod discord. I highly recommend the precautions because the virus attacks things like Discord.

On LL there were quite a few mods with malware already. I reported a few of them and the moderators took the mod offline. I have no idea whether users have been informed - at least I didn't get a notification - that they downloaded malware.

 

Two years ago I wrote the Privacy Protector to prevent malware download, execution and upload of sensitive user data. This mod still works fine, it's linked in the footer. Download and install it and at least some threads will be blocked.

Scripts above should provide additional security against malicious scripts.

 

I personally recommend to check the script file on the Virus Total. I'm not sure if it is able to detect anything but additional safety measures will never hurt.

Was wondering about the Virus alert myself...Saw over on TSR that there is one from here that's infected...it said "Jan file date V1 of Adult mod on Loverslab" but it didn't mention the name of the mod (of course that's reasonable since it's not a PG-13 mod), so not sure what mod they are speaking of.  Any guesses what the mod could be?

Cult Mod or something like that. I remember it had Cult in the name.

Yeah, it was "Sex Cult Mod v2", but the virus script has been packed into different mods and distributed on various sites. Read more here:
