sadly no, Sexbound is very much a part of my lusting race and needs it to function properly.

Fair enough, I'm still enjoying the mod fully. Probably one of the better race mods out there

Having a bit of an issue with mods like Teratophilia, engaging a sex node works and everything while playing a Lustling but there's no animations that register for the race. I double checked the mods were working by trying the same thing with a vanilla race (in this case a Human) and it gave me several animations to choose from.

Any idea if I'm missing a mod or something is out of place?

Edit: I actually found a solution by editing the official FU BYOS Modded Race Patch from steam and making my own .pak with lustling files included and it works but you have to unsubscribe/remove the old patch and extract my unofficial .pak into your mods folder for it to work. It cost me some of my remaining sanity but at least you can point people to one of these files if they request a BYOS patch in the future.

Sadly BYOS has been giving me a headache, ether I make a entirely separate race mod just for BYOS or do what you did and post a patch. I do have a question but is this patch client side? I will poke at it and if you don't mind I can post it in the downloads section.

My ship is also glitching out with a flashing panel, refuses to boot up. Its not crashing my game but I'm unable to do anything at all.

 

Looks like it has something to do with Enhanced Storage. It might be on my end but heres my log anyways.

 

Imagine being retarded and not installing Enhanced Storage. Nevermind. Fixed it. Lol

I have no idea why, but this mod just. Doesn't work for me? I've tested and my game works fine with my current list. No crashes or lack of dependencies. I have sexbound reborn 1.2r2, yet when I add this to my list, my game just doesn't work.

There is no error log, it starts fine, but once the splash screen ends, my game just closes without warning.

A log file is created on start, If you post it I can take a look and see why your game crashes after splash screen.

okay. I somehow managed to fix it. To make a long story short, My sexbound reborn was broken. A reinstall of it seemed to fix it.

The mod seems to not work if I have any of the mods from the steam workshop, and even after getting rid of them, It doesn't show up as a selectable race is the character select screen.

okay, I fixed the thing with the steam mods but its still not showing up as a selectable race, how do I fix this?

It looks like your missing sexbound, its sadly is a requirement for my mod.

thats weird cause I have it installed, i even tried changing it out for the source version instead of pak

your error is saying its crashing because it missing lox_sexbound

 

I am not the author of sexbound but ether you have a old copy still semi installed, or you have not installed the new one correctly or not at all. Don't quote me on it tho.

Doesn't seem to be working for me, don't know why though. I do have Sexbound installed, it is functioning, the game isn't crashing, but Lustlings are not able to be selected.

EDIT: NVM, realized I needed a character extender, I'm new to Starbound modding so I didn't know it was a separate mod.

Hey, I saw earlier someone mentioned this but, due to the forum positioning weirdly as it was on the bottom. I ended up not seeing a response to this and so, I'll also ask. I have a problem where when I start up the game after character creation. I become soft locked on the ship. After speaking to the AI and letting the dialouge exhaust nothing happens. I have all mods for the folder and all needed mods for each loaded into my game. I cannot teleport, I cannot proceed further, and after attempting to brute force it with admin nothing changed. Also to note after trying to save and quite each time my entire game freeze's and then crashes. Is there something I'm missing or am I possibly doing something wrong? I do want to use this race but, sadly the game just is not letting me. No matter my attempts.


Note: I fixed the issue and I'm unsure which part fixed it. I tried two things. Beginning the game from the very beginning and going through the tutorial and I deleted the neki AI. LArge possibility your race cannot be ran with any other race AI Replacers. Such as the N.E.K.I mod.

thats odd, mostly because the AI being used is just a simple texture replacement .. i think, I do remember having issues during the races development. At the time very few people used the N.E.K.I mod so I popped in just a simple texture replacement and had it set so you could use any AI available. Why I say this is I use N.E.K.I with this mod and had a server I ran and I would swap out N.E.K.I during updates or changes so I would not mess up other peoples mod list.

 

TLDR, 

 

N.E.K.I should work just fine, I use it with my mod. lol in fact my N.E.K.I is edited to be more NSFW and talk about my char lustling race a lot.
