mishick90 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Yesterday everything was fine, but today, for some reason, such an error began to appear. (I haven't downloaded or updated anything.) Can someone suggest the reasons or ways to eliminate this. (I've already tried reinstalling mods - it didn't help in any way)
anjenthedog Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Afaik from a few posts I've read about the latest Skyrim update (yesterday or this past weekend dunno I use 1.5.97), if it applied to your computer, You have to wait for the new SKSE

If you have Steam, and you haven't put an external guard on it (out of reach of Steam) to keep it contained, you can never say that. Steam will download and update without warning, regardless of if you want it or not, and regardless of whether it will break something or not. 1 hour ago, mishick90 said: Yesterday everything was fine, but today, for some reason, such an error began to appear. Yup, such is the very convenient world of automatic updates. Don't you love it? 1 hour ago, anjenthedog said: You have to wait for the new SKSE SKSE updated a couple of hours after the official patch. Its the mods w ith dlls that depend on a specific version of SKSE that need to be updated one-by-one. Edit: Also the ones that tap into specific memory addresses manually, they probably have to be found again if the offsets got scrambled in the new exe. Edited December 7, 2023 by traison 1

mishick90 Posted December 8, 2023 Author Posted December 8, 2023 thank you all very much, I didn't realize right away that the update was out, I downgraded the version and everything worked right away. 1
