FauxFurry Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Are there any mods which involve Dunmer slavers who continue to operate on Solstheim in the 4th Era? Everything that I have seen so far is centered on mainland Skyrim despite no one except possibly bandits would engage in the trade.
belegost Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 (edited) Nothing I know if. Solstheim is devoid of dedicated content. The only mod that specifically adds something interesting to it is Troubles of Heroine. I can't really think of anything else. Frankly, I also don't go there very often and I assume most people too. All the fun stuff happens on mainland. Doesn't help that from narrative perspective, going there before completing main quest first makes little sense. Edited October 22, 2023 by belegost

I go there before Miraak in order to get the relics of Ahzidal. Those allow for better enchanted items. To the main question, I also am unfamiliar with such a mod.

That's a mere 10 points increase in exchange for a significant investment of time and money. I would not call it worth a damn, especially since I've been using Ordinator since time immemorial and its revision of entire enchanting perk tree makes it viable to actually invest your precious perk points into it. You can even do an entire dedicated build around it, with the 100 points perk "Miracle" being a sort of crowning achievement of your enchanting career (if you go for it organically, it can be VERY satisfying). I assume what you said makes a degree of sense with vanilla, but I don't even remember how a vanilla perk tree looks any more. And even with or without perk overhaul there is still enchanting/alchemy loop and that's much faster and cheaper. Edited October 22, 2023 by belegost
Guest Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 I doubt it. The cabbage tradition is very strong in the Skyrim modding scene. I would not even say that mods are centered on the mainland, but really on Whiterun and Riverwood, as the cabbager reddit cult demands. Only in recent years areas such as Markarth started to get attention. So don't expect too much on Solstheim. Cabbagers. Toddlers. The Howards. The farmer loretard tradition. The aversion to tits. The aversion to asses. Muh immersion, muh cabbage. To be immersed in neverending bugs. That's the greatest pleasure of the average Skyrim modder.
