Riekling lair hallucinated mountain : removed some Kharstag stuff.
hotcave temple now connected to hotcave
Hallucinated city ; no more key required.
Hallucinated city : removed rikeling stuff, add crystal at pit bottom.
aFTD3_Nuai2_city : changed the wait from 60 to 20
aFTD3_Nuai2_city : duplicate final trigger to be sure the quest sill progress. need to test.
aFTD3_dawnstar2 : fixed stages 30 and 40 stages descriptions.
aFTD3_Nuai2Begin : repairing the college path.
aFTD1_chapter1_solitude : finishing adding an alternate to get slaver for serstage 40to50
aFTD1_chapter1_dawnstar : player should mastrubate if loose round 2 now.
aFTD1_chapter1_dawnstar : norren should now comment player round 2 lost.
aFTD3_begin : reconnection with chapter 3 quests. Should work now.

 

 

I want to advance in chapter 4 a little, and add some sexscene player+nuai+riekling to make good use of billy animation pack new versions.

ok, i reinstalled SE... I got some saves crach pb and some texture problem between CBBE body vs hand/feet/head problem, but it's working.

 

About chapter 4, two paths : cult, or investigator.

 

In both case, it will be a collection of tasks to accomplish.

The number of quests you'll suceed will have an influence.

 

for cult, my ideas are :

- a classical follower sacrifice.

- eliminate or send on false trails/get mad... your fellow investigators companions.

- capture Nuai if she's alive.

- ensure the other great ancient factions will not intervene

- help to secure Insmouth island

 

for investigator, Nuai alive or dead will changes the missions you'll get.

- find a portal leading to Insmouth.

- get info from other great ancient factions.

the difference is simple : withouth nuai, the group will ne being able to use her magic and her knowledge, and it will harder to reach Insmouth.

 

If you have more ideas, they are welcomed.

Just got to the point in ch2 after the Inn Basement Party, Arthrarak is waiting outside the Inn with 3 options. Top two option has no issues but the last one has him imprison you in a cage. However once I am in the cage then nothing else happens, Anthrarak doesn't talk to me. Is some script supposed to run there?

 

Also can you even get 0 Trust in the current version for the bad end? Your trust just increases daily and there isn't much options that decrease it.

I am on the quest where I meet the thief in Shimmermist Cave to facilitate getting ebony for an alter.  I have Ulwe following me and the quest indicates they're supposed to have some type of dialogue.  I'll admit that the first time I went in there the thief wasn't there so I had to 'moveto player' her into the cave because it seems the temple and warm cave cause some type of disconnect which you're aware of.  Is there more to this quest?  Is there a way to jump start their convo or skip it?

I have both in my LO as well without any issues. The only conflicting file in both mods, from what I can see, is the changelog. I suggest making sure that you have all appropriate requirements for both and checking your log files to see what is causing your CTD.

I found some scripts mispacked in Ravenous SE.

 

Maybe I should not pack the changelog inside the archives...

I can't really see it causing much of an issue, tbh - you could always package it differently if it's something you're worried about. I have a bunch of mods with a conflicting changelog or readme pointed at the Data folder without any issues.

However, it may be sensible to add version numbers to the required dependencies, such as ZaZ, since its older versions seem to cause some issues that 8.00+ seems to fix. I haven't tested this mod with SLP+, so I can't speak to whether it could cause a CTD for people using it in place of the original SL framework, but I'm running v1.66b on the 1170 build if that helps.

I cannot seem to get perversion high enough to choose the reikling sex quest, or choose the prostitution path.  I did the rock paper scissors quest and made sure I lost, and I did the Solitude quest where I gave the hand job, and there did not seem to be any quest involving sex in Windhelm.  Any ideas or do you need to figure out a console command to raise perversion?

I feel like I'm stupid but I can't figure out how to start this mod at all. I'd played a previous version before and so I tried going to where Insmouth was in that version, but there's nothing there. Am I missing something obvious?

I'm sure by now you've figured it out or gave up on this mod. For anyone else with this issue, the NPC you need to speak to is named and he moves around a lot between the Red Wave and the Winking Skeever in Solitude! Much better to have made it one of the crew that never leaves the ship.

If so I will give notes as I play it.

 

The first part went rather well, I had just a few annoyances (sorry), but no bugs. It bothered me that I had to run down Xander. He has no marker on his head and he

moves between the Red Wave and Winking Skeever. Anyone who doesn't know he's the one to talk to, is left inside the Red Wave scratching their head after having

talked to all the pirates that are there.  This may be on the author or some other mod of mine controling NPCs. Don't know, just thought I'd mention it here.

 

Otherwise I have made it to the Riekling cave without issue. Here there were two minor issues. The Riekling Warrior that leads you to the chief falls off he  bridge to

his death. His pathing sucks. You should put a rail on the middle section of the bridge. He did it twice in a row, I loaded the auto-save from when I entered the cave

to try again. After the second time I just went up to talk to the chief.

 

After all the fun and games the chief leads me to the scene at the tent. Then he runs off back to his starting position. Without thinking I opened the satchel and

grabbed the contents. But still had to talk with the chief.  Was a faint hope that if I put the parchments back in the satchel that I coud talk to him and return to

retrieve them from the  bag again...but no such luck. Once you open the bag, the script is done regardless if you speak to the chief or not.

 

I will have to re-enter the cave and go through it all again.

It is not clear on the quests but basically you have to do the Windhelm quest first to get the knowledge of the whore hired. Then at the Winterhold quest you have to ask the "debug" character to come with you when heading to the cave then you can open the Prostitute path.

Does anyone have a fix for the CTD on a new game? or possibly what's causing it

 

*Correction* Issue fixed when you're using zaz8.0+ (remember to use the 8.0+ variant)

Ialso have the same problem on 3rd option.. do u have any solution?.. im in cage standing..and the arthrarak just silent

Hey is 4th part already in place? I joined the cult given birth and Mankara teleported me to the Insmouth but i cant do anything more. no new quest started and the Uncover The Mystery quest is still active.

After the fix update aFTD3 went relatively smoothly.

What I encountered except for debug parts(aFTD1,2 parts were okay but most of aFTD3 parts were bugged for me) were

-At aFTD3_dawnstar3_Thief, it still doesn't prgress to stage 110 

-At aFTD3_dawnstar4, when PC chose the priestess path, after hkrulu(?) kill all cultists it doesn't progress to stage 360(? which brings PC to the dream world for third oath) 

Aside from bugs I genuinely enjoyed huge improvements over the original version

Continuing my observations I have made it through Insmouth and explored the ruins under the new Riekling cave after moving out of Skyrim.  Some issues with getting NPCs to move when they are supposed to. Waiting 24 hours often did the trick but should not have been necessary. After blowing the guard at the gate to the dock with the slaver ship I am teleported into the warehouse to satisfy him again along with the Dock Master, don't remember his name. But the bastard kept walking out the door while the scene played out.  I was stuck inside as all the doors leading out required a key. Had to reload a couple of times and go through it all again while rapidly clicking on him to open the dialogue before he stepped out the door.

 

Quest markers became an issue, when I was supposed to go to the Light Tower, the marker pointed to Olga's house. Wasted time there before coming here and reading the forum to discover this is a known issue.

 

The biggest issue was spying on the ceremony. I got in position as noted by the quest marker and listened to them chant and then...nothing. Reading here I realize that I was supposed to have been teleported but that wouldn't happen. Finally had to resort to the console and doing a SetStage.

 

The ending of all that was troubled only that it seemed incomplete. I was stuck for a moment not knowing where to go. There should have been a quest marker on the captian  of the ship that takes you back to Skyrim. I know he's mentioned in game but I had forgotten that by that point and there is nothing I remember in the journal to guide me to him. I just remembered after a time and took a chance the boat that brought be there would be the one to send me back.

 

Back in Skykrim and having given the Rieklings a new home it was...interesting...having to take care of their...needs. Nothing bad to say, just sayin'...there was a lot of it. Made more complicated by the use of  Aroused Creatures, ended up having to make a few of the boars happy too.

 

Oh, another mod killer was the door in the ruins to the Library. Nuia used the key, the doors graphically opened, but it remained stating that a key is required to unlock the door.

There was NO WAY into the library. Had to use "Unlock Door" in the console to get it open and be able to continue. She should just give the player the key.

 

The latest is back in the Hot Cave. Norren says to follow him (To where the cult lies down a short narrow rocky tunnel at the back of the cave) But he never moves. I went ahead and

went down and talked to the cult leader. Norren remained in the cave just standing there like a dumb fuck.

 

Also it is annoying that the quest to give the cult leader 2,000 gold won't complete and a quest marker remains active on him. I am rich so I just gave him 2,000 gold. Apparently that won't do (though he does take it). Guess there is something I am supposed to do to 'earn' that particular 2000.

 

Regardless, I am with Ualu (sp), to go dig up 20 ebony bars. When I spoke to her she told me to follow her, but she never moved. Still that part completed and her dialogue continued. I have now gone to Shimmermist to get the ebony. I've already cleared it  before, I don't  remember it having any ebony and certainly not 20 bars worth. All the quest says is to explore so I'm exploring.  Is there a third person in our group? She talks to someone else (can't remember the name) about the mission, but there is no one else there but me and her.

 

Overall I've enjoyed this mod through a very long, complex chain. It's commendable. But it does have a few glaring issues which makes it impossible to enjoy without resorting to trickery and/or console commands. Those issue should all be dealt with, in my opinion, before expanding on the mod with new content.

 

This evening I'll continue with Ualu (Sp) and see if I can find those ebony deposits in Shimmermist.
