How does one determine what mod is triggering sex act?

So, I came back to play some Skyrim and take a break from Starfield, and I'm playing my last save (low level PC, cause I mod too much to ever get past level like... 15 haha).

 

Anyways, being a Nord I was gonna join the Stormcloaks. In trying to get there, nearly every guard in Windhelm is raping my PC. Now... I know, that isn't always a bad thing, but it's making it nearly excessive to try and just start the quest and leave the town. I was trying to figure out why it is triggering so often, but I can't figure out what Mod is activating this specific scenario. I've run through them several times, and I don't see why I'd have guards raping PC every few seconds. Is there a way to track and figure out what is triggering? Papyrus Log maybe, right after the act? Something specific to look for?

In such case Papyrus logs definitely could help. At least if the mod in question does send log messages.

 

The other thing you could do is to ask yourself what mod could be the culprit. I don't know what mods you've installed, but things like prostitution mods normally don't get your character raped. Do you have Devious Devices installed? Some addons for this, like Deviously Cursed Loot have a trigger when your character is wearing devices, so other NPCs see her as "free use" in that case.

So first, educated guessing, what mod or mod combination could be the culprit? Then, search for messages in the log.

 

And if nothing helps you could make a list of all mods that could be the culprit (so eg texture mods or SFW story mods are out of scope ^^). Then disable one after another and only one at a time and see if it eliminates the rape triggers. This way you should be able to target down the mod in question. You then just have to enable all mods in the end again if you want to keep playing that save but you could look if that mod provides an MCM to change things

I think personally I wouldn't have the patience to look for something like this, so I'd dump the callstack in StartThread() (sslThreadModel.psc) and have the game tell me the answer.

Figured it out before seeing this (ultimately, something is considering my character 'drugged' even though I've taken no drugs).

 

Appreciate this though, I'll definitely do this just for kicks and see how it works. When running 772 mods, I don't have the patience to check them individually either.

Well.... sure there is. I mena, based on the circumstance and type of sex, either Defeat, or one of the literal rapey mods would be a good start at finding candidates imo. I doubt it'd be "Better Horses" or "Whiterun expanded" and there are only so many sex related mods it could be, again, based on being sexually molested at every turn.

 

out of those 772 mods, I'd bet there would be fewer than two dozen potential candidates (and at a guess even fewer in most "builds") Let's not make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Even less than that. I bet you could count them on one hand. Rape trigger mods are really not that many.

Fair enough... I was being "conservative", since I have no experience with a large share of the "more aggressive" LL mod offerings, so couldn't say either way.

DCL, SD+, Sexy Adventures, perhaps Slaverun Reloaded. And that's it from what I know of. I am counting "rape out of the blue" type of mods of course, not defeat-triggered rape. There may be a handful more I am not aware of, but this is a niche inside of a niche so there isn't much more.

Yeah, there are a bunch of mods listed in the SE compatibility thread that seem possible candidates, IFF the OP has them installed. I just failed to count them.
