Huge FPS drop when exiting Racemenu and going in first person

Hey guys, as the title suggest, i'm having a specific problem that i never had before regarding Racemenu (i guess?).

In details, when i make some changes to my character in racemenu, then exit and go in first person, my FPS drops, a lot.

The more times i enter/exit racemenu, the more FPS i lose, ONLY when i go in first person, till the point where the game crash.

It seems to me like a memory problem maybe?

Has anyone experienced this weird bug?

I have installed the racemenu memory bug fix and "faster hdt smp" prior to this strange bugs, everything was working normally...

Thanks to anyone for a hint.

For Racemenu 4.16 there's a memory leak patch: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/70161

I use it for my 1.5.97/2.0.20 game. I don't think I'm seeing much if any memory rise and often dip into racemenu for either tweaking (just last night I adjusted my male player's axe-on-back positioning to stop clipping with a piece of armor), or reapplying a preset when a glitch screws it up in play.

for the adjustment, I probably had it open a dozen times, plus one "reset (reloading the player's active Racemenu preset)

Anyway, can't say whether the problem still exists (or was coded out of existence) for newer Racemenu version(s), or whether the 4.16 Patch is still valid for any subsequent versions in "AE", IFF the issue wasn't actually resolved during the [4.16 >> latest-ver] update coding.

Hey thanks for the reply, yeah i already have the leak patch installed, i never had this problem before, i noticed it started a while after installing faster hdt-smp, tough i don't know if it could be related, i'm gonna do some tests and see...

Also check for any patches for FSMP. I don't' recall if there are any, but it wouldn't hurt to look.  It's far better than HDT-SMP, but things still get wonky sometimes.

(as an example of other things that can be problematic, not as a hijack issue to resolve) In my own game SLIF (specifically) is a constant issue and often spams my saves with all sorts of crap (and If I'm not mistaken, causes issues in game as well...why else do I get all that spam... and I mean a lot...?). Might look around there too. What happens elsewhere can affect how things like Racemenu... or SL, or mods or frameworks function.

A slightly easier alternative to what @anjenthedog suggested would be to disable SMP and test. If the problem goes away you can start thinking about fixing it. While you're at it, disable CBPC as well. Also there's this thing, though it is not strictly limited to 1st person in my experience.

So: disable all non-essential dll containing mods, enb, floppy dongs, fancy hair physics, cool animations (DAR/OAR), custom camera mods, whatever else you don't need right now, and, take off your clothes. No, I'm not being a creep, you didn't read the link above if you though I was a creep for saying that last bit.
