Hello, thanks for your work.

Just one simple (?) question: I have gangrape switched on, and I am also using the mod Acheron.

So one time I had the effect that 2 of my followers stayed in the "Defeated state" from Acheron. Nevertheless they take part in the gangrape.

Acheron had a Keyword "AcheronDefeated". Maybe checking if the actor has this "keyword" would do the trick and avoid taking part in the gangbang.

I have a quick question, didn't see it asked in here with a quick search.  Is there a way to exclude a specific area from the crime laws?  Specifically, I'm asking about the Temple of Dibella.  I know we can set temples, guild halls, castles, etc as "not public", but I would not want to make all temples "not public", just Dibella's, and perhaps her shrines?  It would make absolute sense that people would be allowed to be naked in there, of all places, especially the priestesses and any acolytes striving to become priestesses themselves.  I know I could just stop and start the mod each time my toon goes into or out of the the temple, but it would be nice to have a more "organic" means to keep from accumulating a huge bounty just for doing what they're supposed to in the temple.  Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.

Another question, or I guess more like a wish like my previous question.  How hard would it be to make this mod or a similar style mod enforce the laws set for ALL women in game, according to the laws of the hold?  It just seems a bit strange that only the PC is either complying with the laws set, or being punished for not complying.  I'm assuming it would be a herculean tasking and probably beyond the scope of anything I might be able to do, but there are mods already that impact the entire population, like Sexrun Enforcer which might be some sort of starting point?

I've found an odd issue when using the LE version of this mod and armor mods that affect follower's inventories. Immersive armors with this mod for example will cause Jenassa to have every level set of gear as the game progresses. So at level 40 she'll have everything from her starting leather up to glass. Its even worse with Book of UUNP. Uthgerd and Lydia for example will have every set of steel plate and steel armor respectively. If you reset their inventories with console commands or just trade the items off them, they will reappear again after some time, usually after a cell load, even if they are your current follower.

In Book of UUNP's case in particular, this causes massive lag or an outright crash as the follower cycles through equipping every piece of armor upon cell load. I've tried changing load orders while only using the required mods, on a new save and it still occurs. Best work around I've found is using AFT's outfit management, which stops the problem entirely. This may affect other NPCs as well, but I noticed it with followers only.

I do really love this mod and I'm hoping there's a better solution. I don't know if this happens on the older SL Adventures but will test when I can.

Anyway, thank you for the mods.

Update, SL Adventures does not have this issue. I'd recommend that over this for LE. Unless you have an inventory management mod for followers, don't use followers, or don't have a lot of armor mods that affect their inventory.

Question: If crime laws are disabled, is there any reason for any of the Sexy_Laws... scripts to run?

I should have asked this long before now, but I didn't. The latest papyrus log post CTD shows a lot of stack dumps  involving Sexy_LawsAdherenceAliasScript. From the summaries:

[05/12/2026 - 05:44:13AM] Event: Sexy_LawsAdherenceAliasScript.OnCurrentCumLawChange, Frequency: 144

[05/12/2026 - 05:58:28AM] Event: Sexy_LawsAdherenceAliasScript.OnCurrentCumLawChange, Frequency: 145

[05/12/2026 - 06:02:30AM] Event: Sexy_LawsAdherenceAliasScript.OnCurrentCumLawChange, Frequency: 144

[05/12/2026 - 08:40:29AM] Event: Sexy_LawsAdherenceAliasScript.OnCurrentCumLawChange, Frequency: 148

[05/12/2026 - 08:42:45AM] Event: Sexy_LawsAdherenceAliasScript.OnCurrentCumLawChange, Frequency: 149

I'm not saying this caused the crash. There were 2 other summaries, including the last one before the CTD, that did NOT include the Sexy_Laws script. But. I doubt it's a good thing.

The script has been in stack dumps probably from the beginning of my game. As I said, I should have asked the question before. If the script shouldn't be running when crime laws are disabled, is there an easy way to fix it?

Thanks.

Looks like with the latest update to Advanced Nudity Detection, Sexy Adventures is no longer registering AND's nudity states, resulting in no crime law violations or gangrape vulnerability for being exposed.

In fact, with AND nudity rule selected, NO crime laws register - I have laws set up against having sex in public, as well as lesbian sex being illegal- my dragonbabe stripped down and made out with Idgrod the Younger right in front of her mom and the guards and there was no registering of laws being broken.

previous version of AND (3.1.5) worked fine, v4.0.0 does not.

Debug log in console (see below image) helped me to see that probably Sexy Adventures trying to change my gender to male at the moment when scene starts.
As a result, the logs throw an error: "No animations for given actors" probably because I don't have any gay animations installed.

SexLab Solutions by the way notifying about this behavior too. Also, I've tested it without SL Solutions and got the same result.

Some interesting lines...

I don't think Sexy Adventures ever tries to change anyone's gender, it's just starting sex and letting SexLab handle it.  Depending on your settings, SexLab might restrict the available animations, but you can fix that by selecting less restrictive options.

You have a big clue in the first line of debug output.  Gender faction ranks are 0 for male and 1 for female.  -1 is not valid.  It suggests that the actor hasn't been initialized.  I've personally never seen this happen.  It looks like the problem is not with Sexy Adventures but with SexLab or the way you have it configured.  If you're using a futa mod, supposedly that can confuse SexLab.  If SexLab is confused, then none of the mods that use it are going to work properly for you.

Does anyone know how to get the translation file to work in VR?  It's failing to load in English for me and I'm seeing the full "$Sexy_ArmorLawBounty_InfoText" stuff everywhere making it hard to navigate through the MCM.

Update: Solved. SkyUI VR wasn't setup to properly read .esl files as they didn't use to work for Skyrim VR. Renaming the extention to esp fixed the translation load.

Having fun with the gangrapes but I decided to try out crime and so far it doesn't detect that I am having sex of any kind.  Only detecting nudity.  Has anyone else had this issue?  I have spectator crowds and it is detecting sex.

How do you have your Crime Laws set up?

Are laws applicable in all holds, or only some areas?

If you are having sex through the gangrape scenario, do you have violations enabled when raped? by default, getting raped doesn't count

What do you have the various reporting chances set at?

What is the violation time set at (how much time must pass before you can get fined for crime violations)

There are a lot of configurable variables that can affect your crime stats

Cleaning my save and reinstalling the mod seems to have fixed the issue.  Thanks for the reply.

Does this require a new game? I installed it mid-save, and I'm not getting a MCM (I read the page a few times, but I"m mildly dyslexic so I might have missed it )

try this:

Use the Console Command: Open the console and input setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 to force SkyUI to rebuild the configuration manager queue

you know...I"m an experienced modder with years of modding skyrim, and an experienced linux user with lots of time in the terminal and somehow it NEVER occured to me that we can use the console to force load MCM... lmao...

We all have our moments.

I learned that one from another mod topic where people were having issues with the mcm not loading when it was installed mid-game

My biggest issue right now is trying to sort out the sea of red in my SSEEdit conflict filter and trying to:

a. Get rid of my random crashes

b. get rid of the workshop auto-exit bug I've been experiencing. Very hard to do any enchanting or blacksmithing when your pc exits out of the crafting bench immediately after the crafting menu shows up

does anyone know if there is a patch to make the crime laws from this mod work in Beyond Skyrim: Bruma? The gangrape works just fine, but that isn't restricted by location, just availability of participants.

@Seeker999 has brought up an interesting 'bug' in this mod.

Bottom Line is:  Presently, you might be safer to treat this mod as a possible source of future problems and avoid it like the plague,  Here's why

I've used this mod for years without, I thought, any ill effects, but I wouldn't recommend its use right now as, although it can seem to work OK most of the time, there are underlying flaws that are such that the 'Crime Laws' settings and the resultant script overload have crashed recent games so badly that I had to abandon them.  And after a few hundred hours of gameplay, it's been annoying to say the least

Basically, the script for Sexy_LawsAdherenceAliasScript is baked into the save game, in hundreds of instances, DESPITE the MCM being set to 'No Crimes'.  Normally one might expect that that would prevent this happening but it doesn't.  (Not certain why, but I can see that I did at one time change some of the 'individual crime settings' to something other than blank, but one wouldn't expect that to affect anything later if the overarching main setting is 'No Crimes')

So either it runs those just because some of the individual settings were changed, or continues to run them if you tried them out, but reverted back to No (global) Crimes

The impact has been that a further glitch arises in that after a while, or something else happening in game, on the player changing cell/location, the script ran hundreds of times creating hundreds of stack dumps (as seen in logs and - as explained below - ReSaver).    The game would carry on playing, but EVERY save you then created AFTER the location change saves as

    GameNameSaveNumberXXX.ess.tmp

It will indeed produce a new save every time you save, but........

1:  None of the saves shows in the Skyrim Save listing

2:  None of them appear in Resaver,

................as both the game and ReSaver only recognise ' .ess ' files, and not '.ess.tmp' files

You can see the messed up stacks etc in ReSaver.  Edit the save filename extension by deleting the '.tmp' part of the extension and ReSaver will then load the (resuffixed) .ess file to show you the mess of hundreds of stack dumps and frames

Normally you could try to fix this by

1: Restarting the game with the last known .ess save.  That will actually start OK, but all saves thereafter will still come up as .ess.tmp and can't be seen or loaded in the start menu

or

2: Reinstalling the mod over the existing one (using MO2 that's easy) and repeating 1 - that just gives exactly the same result

or

3: Doing something to remove the mod from the game. eg 'coc QASMOKE' and saving prior to attempting mod removal - but you find here that can't do that without the save made in QASMOKE also turning up as .ess.tmp

or

4: Going back to the last good .ess save and reloading it after taking the mod out of your load order - (doing that with any mod is a bit dodgy dodgy but it can work) but here all that happens is that on startup, when you try to load the game from the last good save, you get a 'save file corrupt' type message and a CTD

So basically, if you get to this point, you seem to be totally stuffed and your game is going no further

As almost all of my games have this mod as part of the standard load order, all are now plagued by this, or may well be at some point soon.  That's a bit depressing as it's basically a  few hundred hours gone to Oblivion

I'm really sorry to be writing this.  It's a pity, as at root this is a good mod and I've used it for a long time - although one or two other facets also can glitch.  The mod author was very responsive to dealing with a few glitches that I had pointed out long ago, and deserves credit for that

But right now, it's probably not worth the risk, and there are other mods doing basically the same thing which might be safer to use long term

Please provide examples. Ideally, ones that also tie in to and recognize Advanced Nudity Detection for specific states of (un)dress that can cause law violations.

These cover a lot of the same ground.  LMAO is still being developed

Not too sure about AND, though, I'm afraid as it's not something I use myself

Hope that's helpful

Thanks for those. I try to avoid most of the DD stuff, as it creates extremely dangerous situations (I play with Frostfall - being bound in the arctic can kill you), but LMAO looks promising. It integrates with LPO, AND and SLTR, which I already use.

Having an interesting problem - I'm getting fined for nudity violations and having sex at night, even though:

1. I am not using the SA curfew law (that is being handled by LPO)

2. All nudity/sex laws are toggled 'tolerated at night'

3. All crime laws are identical across all holds.

It doesn't matter what hold I'm in, I still get the warning messages and eventual fines, even when the activities occur during the registered night period.

Has anyone else had this issue? Has anyone found a fix/reasoning behind it?
