NTWY Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 I have this issue where, when I add a new mod to my load order or when I remove one, the save will crash when loading it. If I keep the load order intact the save loads fine. It is not a dependency problem since creating a brand new save works. I have a pretty heavy load order which maybe linked to the problem since when I didn't have as many mods I didn't have this issue. PS: I also use engine Fix, I heard some modifications had to be made to the config files in case this happens but they didn't seem to help for me. It depends on the mods : some of them you just can not remove without issues , specially the one with scripts . try this tool : FallrimTools - Script cleaner and more at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
