Making New Animations

By the way, here's .blend for that replacer of #5 (44+13) anim. In case someone wants to modify it or split into stages, or use it in Oblivion or whatever.

Was linking face animation to it when I found out that toggling tfc actually disables face morphs.

 

Are you sure? Just googling around a bit' date=' found this download, description seems to indicate facemorphs can be done in tfc mode. I really don't know much about animation stuff so I could be wrong though.

I don't know if they're disabled, but I know they can be really tricky since more than a simple skeleton is involved. The skeleton can animate any body using it pretty well (as well as can be expected from how simple the skeleton is).

 

The faces though are animated entirely based on the mesh, which can change radically from one body to another, even between different bodies of the same class (like type3 or type6).

 

We'd at least need a different set of face morphs for each body mesh we want to support I believe, or we risk doing some real "face melting" on meshes with different facial geometry.

Well, perhaps they could be created for Type3 (as it seems to be the most commonly used) and throw a toggle in somewhere to turn face morphing off if anyone's faces start melting.

 

Facial expressions and bouncing breasts are the two main things "missing" from our current anims, imo.

Actually I take all that back. The head isn't part of the body mesh (duh) so it shouldn't matter.

 

Breasts are easy enough to do, someone just has to do the work. All the new animations Loogie has been producing have bouncing breasts.

Are you sure it was loogie ?? i did not see any created by him where did he upload those ?? Maybe we can have more by now. so far the only other that really created new once where Johnhead.

"Smack" no really i wish he did, the more people start this the more animations we can get up quickly. That is why i was disappointed the one who was gonna create new dp hasn't reported back with new once.
