lanilani Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone would happen to know where I could find a good tutorial on making a custom body replacer. I'm abit tired of being torn between the perks of one body type over another (i.e. "I really like how the hips look on this body, but THIS one has better custom armors...), so I would like to learn how to make my own body. If I feel it's good enough/ there's high enough demand for it, I may post it here to actually contribute to the modding community, instead of just taking/ griping about not getting exactly what I want. I have the willingness to learn, but have NO idea where to begin. Will I have to learn how to make a human body period? That's fine, if so. After the body is created, how does one import it into Skyrim? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
lanilani Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 To the moderators, I put this in the wrong area, and I apologize.
Cynical Misanthrope Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I can't help you when it comes to create stuff. I have just started to look into the area myself, and I'm not even close to understand all stuff yet. But why limit yourself to just one Bodytype? My advice, use this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37546//? It's very easy to use, and say goodbye to "hmm, wich type to use" thoughts
Vioxsis Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 There's no small answer to that question. First you will need to pick a 3D modelling program 3ds max (2010 - 2012) and blender are the only ones capable of exporting/importing a nif (with varying degrees of functionality) but you could use any program you liked and use one of the ones pointed out earlier for just importing/exporting. Depending on 3D program picked would determine the tutorials you would watch. And if you want to make a body yourself then learning at least the basics of modelling and some anatomy.
Monsto Brukes Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 OR . . . Bodyslide. search it on nexus and read around. you can basically create a custom body from technical parts using an app with sliders. sliiiiiide yer shit around and make yer big-ass toon.
