Just wanted to ask for clarification, since I haven't been following this thread very closely: Does this include a working version of the nude mod? I know nothing you've posted implies such, I just wanted it to be true... 😅

If it's not implied as such then clearly it's not. I mean it's pretty obvious it only mentions about updating the dialogue mod.

If you're wondering about the nude mods themselves, why not ask me, the person who created this thread and the mods?

The mods should still work with the latest version of the game, at least on Steam.

It won't work on outdated pirated builds or if GOG has been slow on having the updated build.

That's what I wanted to know. I had been using a pirated version until today, so I thought the mod was outdated. Thanks for letting me know 👍

so I have updated the text again, made some of the dungeon text more character specific. unfortunately it doesn't always seem to work right and I'm not sure why. essentially each one I did was

eventidpurse
eventidpochette

event id

sometimes it works, like on the healer lines. other times it doesn't, like the blacksmith forging lines. I did also add a line to the two kids. I feel like if they just mention it its not a big issue.

Something broke with the formatting of the spreadsheet file which cut off most of the dialogue lines.

I don't think adding a specific character variation of the same line was the cause of it (though I'm not sure if these lines are even functional) since WinMerge has no problem with merging these additions and continue on from there, but there is something strange between "ev9b3o1" and "ev9b3o1t1" that ruined the spreadsheet table even though it looks fine on Notepad(++) and a spreadsheet editor like Microsoft Excel.

The part I highlighted is what's causing the strange cut off. I don't know what it is but something happened there. I was able to fix it though. All I did was remove that corrupted line, added in a new line with commas to replace it and then fill each space between the commas with the original text on WinMerge.

On a side note, the game received a very minor update recently but it ruined my progress with my own dialogue edits by overwriting my edited file with the original version even though the update didn't even made any changes to that file...

So be wary of that for whenever the game updates in case Steam does its stupid thing of verifying game cache as well.

I haven't done much work though, but I had some edits of Purse's first encounters with Pochette where she's surprised to see another person nude.

I wish I could restore them, I doubt my second attempt would be as good as the first time.

well I have made like 1-2 other changes. the one I remember for sure matthew under the #beatking event. I changed the dialog where they're talking about beating him with the backpack, cause I thought it was purse saying that line. wouldn't make sense with matthew saying it, so instead higher up I added "I can finally put my clothes back on!" after "the town is saved! Guess we won!"

also the character variation lines should work on the actual text boxes, but on the small speech balloons they don't. I don't think there's a way to apply them but I added them in anyway in case a way to do so became apparent.

I don't remember if I made any other changes since last time, but figured I'd upload it anyway.

I think maybe the issue was that I put two "" so one was missing. I removed one of them.

Your installer doesn't work on linux, due to the base game directory not sharing a name with that of the windows version.
Wine would have no issue installing the mod, but the folder name "Backpack Hero_Data" is replaces with, "Linux_Data" on linux.
Renaming the folder and then naming it back again is a simple enough work around, but it'd be nice if the installer didn't assume a path that doesn't always exist. I'd rather be able to choose the files out directly.

Give Bottles a try for the installer. I'm running linux, and having bottles handle the windows installer to modify files works out well for me. It is essentially a wrapper for wine, but it does a fair bit of lifting in it's containers to make things more compatable and smooth.
