The ones that say 'perm' could be ones where you did your 'fix' via the console.

In any case' date=' try the attached ESP.

Just load it up, it will display a message when it's done. Run "player.getavinfo perception" after that and see if the temp -4 has gone away.

If it has, save, and then repeat on another save that has a -4 TEMP modifier -- this one should not affect any of the 'perm' modifier values. We'll save that for the next step, if it's needed at all.

I take no responsibility for what this is going to do if you don't check getavinfo before you save, especially if you save over the top of an old save. :)

OK, downloaded it, got the message, gave it a try.

I still have the -4 in the temp section. Perm section is clear though.

Wow. Ok.

I've tried ForceAV, RestoreAV, and ModAV. All three seem to only be affecting the perm value and not the temp val.

Are you sure you're not wearing some kind of clothes that have a -4 to PER or something? I can't (so far) find a single script command that modifies the 'temp' value.

Nope, I am not wearing anything. I've even tried stock naked too, the only thing I am wearing is a spring dress with a +1 agility, but even taking that off makes no difference.

Would temp not indicate an effect that wears off over time? I mean I tried resting for three days, but it persisted, so I gave up. It's annoying that the effects section of my stats are clear too and give no indication as to what may be causing it.

Thanks for helping me out with this.

Temp (I think) means they were caused by a "spell" which is game engine speak from oblivion that means any effect caused by drugs, alcohol, and so on. We use spells a lot in sexout and the other mods as well, since they are as close as we can get to writing our own functions.

All spells do eventually wear off, but they can be quite long -- like hundreds of thousands of days long.

There is no way I'm aware of to get a list of all the spells currently affecting the player, however, I am a little amazed that doing a clean load with ONLY FalloutNV.ESM selected is not fixing the issue, since removing the ESM or ESP that contains the spell should remove the spell from your character.

You haven't done anything else goofy have you, like hacked up your FalloutNV.ESM at all? It should be a bit under 240K and if you open it in FNVEdit it should say:

Version 1.340000
# of records: 542016
Next OID: 4279745096

When you click on the "File Header" under FalloutNV.esm.

I've checked all the sexout plugins I can, without finding anything that would affect Perception like that... but, that doesn't mean shit since there is one plugin I can't look through. SexoutLust... I've got the MCM version and it will not open in GECK. (and no, I've got sweet fuck all idea how to solve the "too many fucking masters..." thing that GECK throws at me)

If anyone can crack that fucker open and see what the effects of high levels of lust do to a player, I'd be grateful...

Meanwhile, I've been thinking about when that kind of thing hit me... though it was Agility it borked. I used ModAV to force it to 20, then used CheatTerminal to set it to 10, then dropped it by 1's until it got to where it should have been.

It took a few minutes, but it managed to clear it. (whatever it was that hit me, it gave me -9 to agility... reloading was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!)

You need to set "bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1" in your GECKCustom.ini file in "my documents\my games\..."

Ignore the wrong loading order of some of them, I've updated a few plugins and haven't put them in the right loading order. Having said that, I've had all these mods installed for quite a while without problems.

It's only been as of late that I've used an update here and there of Sexout and its various plugins that I've noticed this error.

Here is a screen of what FNVEdit has to say about what you asked:

Open your Geckcustom.ini and change the line

bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=0

to

bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1

Nooooo... multininjad. Oh well, a lot of things can happen in a few minutes

@ Tregarin' date='

I don't use Complex Needs, so I don't think that should affect it.

@ prideslayer,

I have used wsex, in the past, but I've since uninstalled it long ago.

Not sure quite what to say.... that load list is pretty long. You say a clean save (unload ALL those mods) and load doesn't fix it either, which means.. well something's gone wrong. Maybe something corrupted the game and then you crashed, but kept playing from a corrupt autosave after that?

I'm about out of ideas on how to fix this without saying just "start over" which I know sucks big donkey dicks two at a time. I've never seen an effect like this that doesn't 'go away' when the mod responsible is unloaded.

Hmmn, I thought it might come to that. It does indeed suck big donkey dicks, two at a time.

I mean, I can change the perception back to 6 through player.modav, but it will always have that annoying (-) sign next to it and I have no idea how the game will calculate any future losses/gains on that stat seeing as it's fucked in some way or another.

Thank for trying to help me anyways, much appreciated.

EDIT: I've been tracking the progress of my perception loss, and it seems it's been slowly happening over a number of saves. Many saves back I already had a -2 loss, and only at the most recent ones have I had -4. I've been a Sewer Slave twice, and used the ghoul pheromones twice in that time also. I cannot but help think the two are linked.

I reckon at some point during an SS update something must have become corrupted and the effects of the pheromones (which add a -2 perception loss) must have become stacked.
