What version of Skyrim do you have?

 

Original? SE? AE?

Once you get your game version and proper version of Sexlab figured out, did you run FNIS?

 

What method are you using to install mods, and how are you launching FNIS and the game?

Vortex is OK.

 

What about FNIS (Fores New Idles in Skyrim)?  Do you have it and did you launch it through Vortex?  If you're not sure how to set that up look on youtube for tutorials by Gopher or Gamer Poets.

Go to wherever you have your game installed, find the SkyrimSE.exe file, right click on it and select Properties, go to Details and check the product version. That's the version of the game you have. Don't waste your time trying to say you have SE or AE. If it's a recent installation that number should be 1.6.640 and it's considered a post-AE version. So you have to get AE (and specifically 1.6.640) compatible mods now (mods with a dll file to be specific). Same applies for SKSE (you should notice the game versions mentioned in the official SKSE site to determine which file to get) and Address Library (if your executable version is 1.6+ you need Anniversary Edition, not Special Edition, unless you downgraded your game to 1.5.97, then you'll need to get all your mods for that version instead of 1.6+).

Get all your mods from the Nexus for Skyrim Special Edition and not Skyrim.

Get all your LL mods from the SE section of the downloads/forums or better yet use the threads compiling ported/compatible mods (example the blue links in my signature).

Watch a video about how to use Vortex, Vortex and FNIS, Vortex and Bodyslide, and so on so you get a general idea about how to do some basic tasks.

If you find an error or problem google it, there are thousands of threads with the same issues and existing solutions.
