I am very new to modding Skyrim and new to playing Skyrim in general really so I downloaded a few mods for Skyrim special edition. (i also have the legacy edition) and installed mods like devious devices devious cursed loot and all the requirements also the alternate start thingy but i ran into some problems I have no idea how to fix first lets start with when I start the game I get the message saying outdated or missing SexLabUtil SKSE Plugin detect and it further says i am missing SexLabUtil.dll in the Skyrim/data/sksa/plugin folder but the data folder for me has no sksa folder at all there is a /skyrim/SKSA64 folder.

My second problem is that gags do not work correctly they are not placed in the move and the mouth doesn't move at all if that makes sense.  made Shure the Mfg Fix is installed and that it is loaded in the game. as I can see it under system / mods in game

My third problem is that during the quest where you get the Devious Device equipment removed in the questline added by Deviously Cursed loot SE beta in conjunction with Alternate start the armbinders get removed and are immediately put back on and now they can not be removed anymore.

I have no idea how load order works so I just sorted them by requirements mods that have no requirement at the top than the more requirements they have the more to them bottom of the load order they go.

Last thing is more of a question how do i know if a mod on here is for legacy or special edition? some say SE others don't but i can not believe that so little mods are updated for special edition it seams weird to me.

The errors on top are
1. There are files in in your overwrite directory (absolutely no idea what this means or how to even fix it)
2. Devious Cursed items has mod format 43 instead of 44 I triple checked if it was the SE version of devious cursed items and it is so I choose to ignore this.

Thanks for a quick response in advance.

I must say that the first thing you do when starting to mod Skyrim is not jump directly to the Sexlab section. Without a stable game and modding knowledge it will takes you weeks for thing to works as intended. There are a lot of thread on loverslab also guide beginner to use sexlab.

So my first advice is you need to start with A dragonborn's fate guide. Read through and follow the guide for a stable game.

Second thing is to make sure you are downloading the correct version of the mod for your own game. Currently there are 3 version: LE. SE, AE. Some mods do not support AE for the time being but for SE/LE only.

For this first problem, you probably haven't installed sexlab correctly or not enough requirements

The second problem is because you haven't build all of the devices in Bodyslide yet. You need to run Bodyslide through Mo2 and build all of them there and it will fit nicely

The third problem might happen because you installed devious devices and sexlab incorrectly not enough requirements

Again, devious devices is one of the mods that easily break your game if you don't know what you're doing. For the time being, just take it slow, uninstall them all and read through some guide in loverslab.

i did run through all the body slide painstacingly one by one by one it took more than an hour to do also the device itself is visable it is just the face not cooperating with the device itself. From how i understood it it seams like MFG fix is not working corectly as the gag is there the face looks like how i created it but the mouth is ofset from the gag and also closed

hmmm now that i read again over how to install sex lab you are right i didn't see the last instalation step that you have to perfom ingame. Edit ti seams the first bug only ocours after loading a safe game if i start a new game i do nto get this message

Still thank you

Run bodyslide through MO2 - Select Batch Build in the bottom left corner - Build and it will automatically build everything for you.

It most likely not caused by mfg fix but by your load order + plugin order. For now you should learn how to sort you Load Order manually. It's also recommended to sort the plugin manually but for new user, i recommend using Loot to sort it. Right now both List looks like a mess.

Everything you build / mod config will be stored in the overwrite folder in the bottom of you Mod list. It is recommended to create a new mod ( empty mod ) by right clicking the left panel ( the Mod order ), select "Create empty mod", name it Bodyslide Output. In the Modify Executables, select Bodyslide x64, check "Create files in mod folder instead of overwrite " and select Bodyslide Output

If you are just getting started, I would strongly recommend starting from nothing and following a guide based on your mod manager of choice.

After running the game and testing it for 10 minutes or something to make sure the game runs fine, slowly add other mods.  Maybe 3 at a time, so if you have a problem you know which mods are causing it.  Adding a number of mods at once will just make your life miserable trying to troubleshoot the problem.

I use MO2 for my mod manager and Just Don't has an amazing guide for it:

Regarding Form 43 mods, some mods it isn't an issue.  Some it is.  Always check the compatibility thread for what should work or not, you can usually just use that for the link to the mod page anyway:
