How do I get EasyNPC to work on Vortex.

For context I am modding skyrim for the first time ever and I started modding with Vortex because I didn't know abt MO2 and I just want to get EasyNPC to work but I don't know how. I have downloaded the nexus file and extracted it into a folder. Then I add it as a tool and install the Vortex extension, but you are only supposed to launch it from the mod tool bar thing but it doesn't show up there for me and I have no clue why. If anyone could help me it would be massively helpful.

I'm a MO2 user so I can't help you myself, but let me refer you to the Gopher or Gamer Poets channels on youtube.  They both post lots of tutorials, and while they may not have anything specifically about EasyNPC (I'm not familiar with that mod either) they will almost certainly have videos on how to set up other tools for Vortex.  The principles would probably be the same.  I highly recommend them.

Which Skyrim version is installed? "LE" or "SE" or "AE"?

(yes - this is important!)

2nd question:

Please provide the link to the installed mod

(so that you can check if it is the right version)

if this is clarified - you can "dig" deeper

In that case install just a regular NPC replacer.

The only easy part of EasyNPC is the "Easy" in it's name.

The documentation looks good, but it has many steps, so you need to work yourself thru it step by step.

 

To get it to work you need to add the right command-line arguments to EasyNPC.exe which are listed here command-line arguments.

Only if you get those right you might make progress. I would only find out how to by try and error ^^

 

If you manage to get easynpc to work then rest of the LO will be a piece of cake ?
