The mod you're trying to use is likely for LE, or not properly ported to SE/AE. Nioverride.dll doesn't exist in Special Edition, it was replaced by skee.dll and it's included with every install of Racemenu.

I would imagine in this case it would be a matter of either fixing the script that checks the version, or the script that provides the version. There was another thread I posted in some time back with a similar problem, and I recall that one was fixed simply by changing the nioverride.pex file to the one I have. I suppose there could be 2 explanations for this, either there's a "corrupted" nioverride.pex going around that returns -1 as the version, or there actually is a version incompatibility issue here like @Just Don't mentioned.

Anyhow, if you can't find a compatible version of the mod that's throwing the error, then you can try changing the nioverride.pex file to return the expected version. This is what mine has:

int Function GetScriptVersion() global
    return 7
EndFunction

Yours most likely returns -1. The workaround should be obvious.

So there is no version of this mod for SSE? Tools conversion?

It's a dll, good luck trying to convert it. Also it already exist as skee64.dll in Racemenu.

But as traison mentions the check is done via a script and you could fix that single script to detect the correct files instead. The fact that said check is being done with information for LE gives me the impression the mod wasn't properly ported or wasn't ported at all and you're trying to use a LE mod in Skyrim SE/AE.

FWIW, There IS (or was) a standalone version of NiOveride somewhere out there. I used to have it installed back in the Skyrim 1.5.80 days, but it became obsolete after 1.5.97 became the standard (not necessarily related but correlated in timing). I needed it for some mod or another that still got fussy about which version it encountered (and wasn't satisfied with the Racemenu version).

I have no idea where you'd download it though. Maybe a widenet search will help find it.
