I found a bugs

 

1) When you leave Susanna's house, you get stuck in the door

2) At the harbor , the area in front of the lighthouse, when going back, you are "pushed" against the tanning rack

3) I'm waiting for Maive to give me a key to Susana's house . The mission says to take a nap (I assume at Susana's house) but I can't use the bed (bug?). I tried at the dormitory but the mission doesn't progress and Maive doesn't show up where she's supposed to be.

 

The third point, I solved it via console

1 : seems a door marker problem.

2 : I never found how to fix that... maybe I should remove or replace that tanning rack...

 

3 : you need to use the bed. It will update the quest, and the key will appear on the floor nearby the entry door.

This is exactly the problem. He won't let me use the bed anymore.

I'm getting this as well.  When I threaten him instead he gives his story but the quest doesn't advance and the option to threaten or play the game is still there.

I'm still struggling with Ravenous update, the hunger game quest was a pain in head to make, but now her main system is functionnal.

Once I'll release ravenous new update, I'll work on FTD.

I believe I am starting Chapt 2. I was sent to Insmouth naked and with no belongings.  The first guard sent me to registration. The guard there asked me what I was going to be doing in the city, but I was not able to respond. Is that as far as the mod goes so far?

Thank you. I tried to continue an old game.  I'll give it a go on a new game and see how far I get.

indeed. in the office, there is a trigger. It will setstage the quest, and you'll be able to continue the conversation.

I do appreciate the tip, but I looked all over the office, including sitting in the chair, but I still can't get the dialogue to progress.  Can you give me a hint as to where the trigger is, please?

 

EDIT:  I found out my problem was before I even got to the registration office. I showed up in Insmouth naked because I didn't prepare myself properly before going there. Once I did that, I showed up dressed for my chosen role as a prostitute and was able to tell the guard what my purpose on the island was. Now I can continue on.  So, I should have been able to figure this out on my own. I appreciate your patience in trying to help me.  Thanks again.

Just be careful. IN my experience the Prostitute route can be pretty buggy and break down in a few places. There's been a few mod updates since so hopefully it's more stable now. If you get stuck in any trouble (particularly at two places that I can think of) let us know here and we'll see if we can help you.

I made a run on skyrim LE.

Player as prostitute for chapter2, saved Nuai and chosen whore quest in chapter 3, cultist path.

 

I just met minor problems. There is rooms for improvements, but nothing serious.

Did you met something in the part I didn"t retested yet ?

I'm working on a run now. From past experience I've had problems with the job to go onto the ship with another whore where the thing just breaks down entirely and I had to use the console to advance things the going to the guard captain with the other whores to service the soldiers just stopped and was another console dead end as well.

 

Much more recently, going to the cult party outside Solitude had a problem with the steps to poison the man (he just stood there and didn't die). I was supposed to see another girl outside spying on us. She was never there and going outside to see what was going on caused the quest to advance and tell me I'd dealt with her and she wouldn't tell anyone. Then, afterwards, downstairs, the quest got stuck again at the serving the clients stage and never advanced until I used the console again to be able to continue.

 

Those are the only real major bugs I've encountered so far.

What decides whether we end up as a sacrifice or priestess at the end? I finished all the Mankara quests, made all the "evil" choices but can't seem to get the priestess ending (Mankara says "You traveled inside the abyss, but not embraced the myth" every time >.>).

 

Ascension into Madness (aFTD4_Dagon1_Priestess) quest never triggered for me either (checked it out by starting it with setstage, really cool scene!). No idea when and how it's supposed to start normally but I'm guessing it's necessary to get priestess ending?

I got unreasonably curious about the whole thing so like my poor Skyrim character I did a little investigation of my own. 

 

As expected to get the Priestess ending you need to get Ascension into Madness (aFTD4_Dagon1_Priestess) first or more precisely aFTD4_PlayerIsPriestess_GlobalVariable needs to == 1. The problem was, after trying out different choices, I couldn't figure out how to actually trigger the quest other than use console (setstage aFTD4_Dagon1_Priestess 0) so in desperation I decided to peek behind the curtain and dug into the scripts.  Using trusty Notepad++, my very basic programming skills and non-existent Skyrim mod creation knowledge I learned that in order to start the quest you need:

1) DagonFavor variable == 8

2) Nuai and Mirae alive

 

Since both Nuai and Mirae were alive in my game clearly in my case it was DagonFavor being lower than 8 that prevented me from getting the "good" ending. DagonFavor is increased by DagonProgression() function so I looked where it appears and the results are:

1) aFTD4_Dagon1_Whore +1 point.

2) aFTD4_Dagon1_ChaurTegoth +1 point (interesting note about this quest - you get to choose whether to Break or Mark the statue. Breaking summons a spider and killing it finishes the quest, Marking gives you a "You hear a feminine laugh..." message but doesn't progress the quest at all and you're stuck at "Make your choice" objective. Not sure if that's intended.)

3) aFTD4_Dagon1_Sacrifice +2 for drowning first sacrifice, +2 for burning the second one. Beheading them gives only +1 each, and is of course mutually exclusive with drowning and burning, so at best it's a total of +4.

4) aFTD_dialSacrificeLurkerPlayerSexScr +1 point. Not sure, but I think this is the scene where player has sexy time with the Lurker with Artharak watching. It could very well be related to 5) though.

5) aFTD_DialSacrificeLurkerFollowerScr +1 I can only guess those are scripts for sacrifcing an NPC in Insmouth Temple. I found that nice spot in Temple corridors with a sacrificial pool and an uinteractable Lurker standing nearby and tried sacrificing an enslaved npc and later a follower but the whole sacrificing business doesn't seem to work for me at all.

 

Unless I'm as terrible at math as my teachers seemed to think (and the lurker sacrifice is indeed broken) that gives us a total of 7 DagonFavor if I'm correct about 4) (or 6 if I'm not). That's enough to get Lurker spray, Teleport to Solitude and Teleport to Windhelm spells, but not enough to trigger aFTD4_Dagon1_Priestess quest. Of course it's possible (maybe even likely) that I missed, miscalculated or misunderstood something so unless our lord and saviour (^^) Delzaron can confirm take this whole essay with a grain of salt.

 

Perhaps it's all just my way to cope and it's really just skill issue that's preventing me from becoming Cthulhu's most devoted servant...

You have both good end in cultist an investigator paths. And also bad ends.

By acceepting some acts, like sex with lurkers in chapter 2, sex with rieklings in chapter1, and each sex with Hak'kluru in chapter 3.

spoiler : the more important factor is your decision about Nuai in chapter 3.

Also, you need to have the appropriate corruption, specially for the cultist endings.

Yes, Iddrova is spying you, but she's really discreet. An there are other eyes you can't see in that manor...

 

I aded some debugs to ssetstage 250-260 and 260-270 to Itelettor. Hope it will help.

 

Update tonight.

The mod is still not complete, the chapter 4 investigator path with Nuai sacrificed is not done at all.

I have also some ideas for ambiance improvement (I made a script to launch scenes in aFTD3_dawnstar3_whore to add some npc/npc interaction, need to be tested. If it's working, I'll do something similar in Insmouth, with NPCs discussing (for example "I heard you had a baby recently, congratulation ! Yes, and Xorn is his name, because he's his offspring. So blessed you are !" and similar stuff to add some ambiance in insmouth.).

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding the code but doesn't this part mean that you need exactly 8 DagonFavor (with Nuai and Mirae alive) to start aFTD4_dagon1_Priestess and 5+ only gives you Solitude and Windhelm teleport spells? The main issue here being that, unless I'm missing something, getting 8 DagonFavor seems currently impossible with normal gameplay (disclaimer: I might be completely wrong).
