NPC'S matching MC body

Recommended Posts

Hello guys! Im new modding at Skyrim and i've noticed every female NPC would have the same body as my main character in that moment. How could i stop this and make them have  some other  body? Im also new messing around with BodySlide and i dont know if the choice  is there. Thanks!

There are some mods that can help with that. Some replace specific groups of women like Bijin Wives or Bijin NPCs, etc. some use a more global approach like Autobody (uses the player's installed set of Bodyslide presets to alter all NPCs...More presets, more variants)

I'd recommend that you spend some time over at nexus looking for "body replacers" and checking the mod-categories webpages for related things

I would suggest you learn how these mods work before installing, otherwise you'll be back here in 2 days wondering why X is not working anymore. X being physics, animations, BodySlide, textures, ...

I learned to fly modding FFXIV, Im just not used how all this stuff work, as a first issue related to skyrim I dont think is that bad of a question. Bodyslide is the equivalent to Anamnesis there. Im new to skyrim modding and I only need to know how I could change only my  body and have other NPC'S model in a "vanilla" state withoout mirroring my body.

So this autobody will set a random body for the  npc's? that's pretty much what I need if it is  that.

Yeh! Made my own  research about how to start modding the game, this forum has been quite helpful just by searching and  reading. i have everything  setup without issue, it just odds me that if i change the body ingame, other npc's will mirror it in the next sexlab scene XD

Im not  saying im  a mod genius, just that I'm new to use y'all tools, when I opened this post I was trying to get some indications to a checkbox i might had missed, or, like the guy on the first reply, an alternative mod. But I guess is better  to assume someone is brand new just because  "new to" is mentioned and you'd rather share your bit of salt.  Thanks anyhow, i'll keep researching and watching guides.

Basically yes. But as both @Grey Cloud and @traison advised, read the docs/post tabs/support/ etc. Many people rush in without doing so, and even worse, often end up responding to the problems they could have avoided (had they read the docs and other mod specific discussion)  in ways that end up breaking things even more.

Anyway, I *think AutoBody works, (*as I noted before) , by using the Bodyslide & Outfit Studio application's Bodyslide "preset" files that you have installed. For instance, I have about 60 or 70 different Bodyslide Presets installed (including the ~2 dozen custom ones I created). As a result Autobody uses them all (and one thing I didn't forsee, (but should have), it also uses those I wouldn't have chosen to use for any purpose (ie like the ones with boobs the size of trucks, or hips an elephant could be proud of...), which come by default with some Bodyslide Preset collection mods...

edit: and now I think about it. I need to address that. Almost sure there was some discussion about filtering which are and aren't used (heh, I live in a glass house)

edit2: Get the right one for the skyrim version you're running. I use the 1.5.97 version. There are others.

If I understand correctly, you want NPC's not to have a body like yours . For example , a body like this, you want it to be just your character

Have you considered a custom race?

Lunari race ;

Temptress race ;

Succubus race ;

 Ningheim Race

Customising the races would require some work, but you will have a PG that is completely different from the others.

Yeah! I  considered having some custom races, whenever im a bit more experienced and know how to sort some  stuff first I'll do!  For the moment, the NPC's  share  same bodyslide than my main character. Lunaris look gorgeous :)

The best solution is to set your own species. There are a lot of them.

However...

I supplement this with my own set of clothes and the shape of the body set to it so that it is quite "unique".

I think you need the unique "race" route package...
