almost had male bottom animation working. talons color get messed up an they take the color of the hair, and the female breast somehow still show up from behind male sprite (despite having been removed).

as for top sprite? yea no were not good enough to make that.

aight the creator of the harpy standalone isn't answering. i decided to directly ask the creator of the "universe a cuter place" were the harpy sprite originate from.

normally if they give green light, it should by defacto give green light for all standalone.

They are a Final Fantasy race, I did not make them. And I know how much furries love Freya so, there.

Hello. Why Spirit Tree race still not been added or taken in consideration for modding? Multiple people asked this before, but since the mod hasn't received any update in whole 5 years, and the DEV hasn't openly denied modding, could I add a request for a possible addition?

One of the rules of this thread is that when making a request, you must include proof of permission from the original mod author. I am not adding a race to the list without that.

It's been waited so long and asked even in another thread like this. The author is unlikely to directly answer this in general, because he does not care about this modification and he does not update the mod for a long time. And if the author will not answer direct and tens of years, also no? Some unstable and ambiguous rule that just limits everything. And that screenshot I attached is the most he's been able to respond to in the past thread.

That screenshot sounds like the dev could be saying one of two things:

1) You need to private message them for a real response
2) All usage of sxb support needs to be kept quiet and invisible (which I guarantee won't happen)

i was thinking, the people who made FU are heavily against SxB, BUT they aren't the direct creator of the races used in there mod (and most of said race can still be independently installed). soooo if one would be to ask the ORIGINAL creator of said race, and that they said yes. does it also give permission to make an FU support for the few races to which the creator said yes?

 

i was asking this due to a talk me and friends had earlier. frakin' universe is just a modpack made into a mod. 80% of it are mod that were hidden, stopped worked on, unpopular or straight up deleted, because of it creation. but despite all that they don't actually have full ownership of most mod they used. a lot of those are sitll "owned" by the original creator.

peglacii, mantizi, skatt. all 3 can be found as standalone races without FU.

You are describing exactly why the Slime support is a thing. Both the original and the FU version are the same race, there is no differentiation if you have both installed, it's not possible to make the support only require one and not work with the other, the only way to do exactly that is with requirements, and that is easy to undo, so either way; People will get FU supports if the races are supported outside of FU.

It's still not a good idea to poke the wasp nest, but what you wrote is true.

The main problem with supporting FU races is that the compiler of FU is so actively against sxb support that he actively adds things to FU in an attempt to break sxb and prevent it from working while FU is installed. At least if you use the individual versions of the races you don't have to worry about that.

now that WHY me and friends are planning to make a modpack version of FU. now all mods are there own, separately, independent from each other. and having the original mod author giving green light just mean FU can't do shit about it :b. so if that is done, having a sxb supported FU is possible. it just that instead of a single mod is a modpack (that and uh, it allow people to turn off some mod they don't want, and not have all of them active 24/7).

Hello. I am the author of Deerfolk Unbound: Fauns and Satyrs and the Playable Ripto races for Starbound. I was asked over on Discord by a few people about me making my races Sexbound compatible. I said no since I was too embarrassed to do it myself, but I still give permission for my playable races to be given Sexbound compatibility by other people. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2580639142 and https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2550120589 Ripto might be the easier one to do since you play as him specifically instead of his species as a whole, so it'll be limited to male.

I finished editing the humanoid artwork of the Avians in SexBound to match Cutebound Avians - Re-Feathered.

Since I don't know anything about coding, I can't create a proper Support, so the best I can do is replace the avian artworks in the SexBound mod folder.

But if anyone out there can use this to make a Support, feel free.

hey i'd like to remind that there already sprite made for cuterbound! only for female but yeah

you can read at the bottom that the creator give permission to use there sprites for any purpose. i think having this already goes over a 1/4 of the work.

All you really need is to match the folder structure of sexbound by putting the actor1/2 folders in the artwork/humanoid folder and add a .metadata file with a priority larger than -69 like the one I included in this post. Just remove the .txt from the file name since I added that to make it uploadable here.

You certainly changed your story from being willing but restricted time to being embarrassed by the thought. Are you sure you are the original author?

Yes, I'm the original author, and that's a really old post from before I changed my mind about it, and I'm shocked that people still notice that ancient post, LOL. I was going to support my races myself because people I talk to wanted them. I did have limited time to work on it then, but even once I started getting more free time, I felt embarrassed about working on it and I'm not the best sprite artist anyway. It'll look better in the hands of someone who's more skilled.

 

I left it for the time being until it got even more interest, and that's why I went inactive for a while. Recently, I've gotten more people on Discord asking if I'd support my races, especially Deerfolk Unbound. I'm not against seeing support for my races that will give people immersive elements they want, even if it's NSFW. I just felt awkward drawing it out myself. 😅 

 

If you want proof that it really is me, I'll edit description for Deerfolk Unbound. I won't mention Sexbound on Steam, but I'll mention giving the greenlight to people who want to make add-ons that they want for my races mods.

Here is the screenshot of my edited description for Deerfolk Unbound. It gives permission to add support to both my race mods. Interest in it mainly came from a Discord server, so if there's not enough interest in these races here, support doesn't have to be made for them.

Oh, one more thing that I didn't think of until now. I know that this mod uses moaning sounds. Fauns and Satyrs can definitely use custom ones, but Ripto would be tricky if it wasn't for AI covers. For more realism, I recommend Weights.com to make copies of male sounds with Ripto's voice. https://www.weights.com/models/clm9bc5gk00w6ws0l6zcz8886 and https://www.weights.com/models/cm0srcdol4u6yvvm2y1k4dskb There's 2, but they sound the same anyway. I have an account there already, so I could always AI cover them myself if whoever decides to work on the mod sends me the sound files.

I've finished creating the prop for Cutebound Avians - Re-Feathered I decided to go further and add more detail to the animations, adding nipples to the female bodies, and vaginas to both bodies, so now you'll actually notice if your character is a cuntboy.
