But i have no idea how to download anything from that site.

Try this: http://www.havok.com/try-havok

I don't think your browser is broken. I had to search for "downloads"' date=' click on the "purchase" link and scroll to the bottom to find the "Free PC Download" option.

I didn't try filling in the form to see if it actually let me d/l yet.

[edit']

There's a couple more hoops to jumm through, but the d/ls seem to be working...

I'm not sure anyone's actually gotten this to work yet. From the discussion on Nexus, you need to download the havok content tools version of february 2010, not the latest one. It has plugins for various versions of Max, but not for Blender.

Oh man...

I wonder...

I wonder if it will be possible to detect nearby physics objects... like waist-high platforms, or walls...

So someone can bend another over a table, or press them against the wall, or maybe even interact with nearby bondage equipment if they're in a dungeon...

I've been messing around with this but no success yet.

The main problem is that the havok tools work only as an exporter for anims: you can export 3ds anims to skyrim's hkx format, but you can't import them back! Also there's no havok tools for blender, so it's 3ds only.

Then there's the problem of importing the skyrim skeletons into 3ds, the current nif plugin doesnt do it so well yet.

Finally when we have a skeleton we can try and make some anim, then we'll have to find the right parameters in havok to export them.

In short we're still far from making any new anims, and it doesn't look like converting anims from oblivion or other games is going to be an easy task.

scroogling for havok and blender raises this

"forums.elementalgame.com/395707/page/2" link which is titled

"What I did to export my Blender 2.49 model into Havok format"

It's from 2010 but may be useful to those of us who want to use Blender.

I've downloaded the packages havok tools (2010_02) and autodesk softimage and will give any progress reports as I explore.

To be honest autodesk makes my fists twitch. It gives me an install with relevant info/instruction chunks in 'gana and kanji and insists on going on the C drive, with trusted status. But I'm prepared to take a risk on it.

Havok are very proud of their Skyrim role. If I was animating I'd be happier if the walk cycles weren't quite so awkward. Some of the animations are wonderful, but some of the most ordinary are rather stiff and stilted. Not quite up to a reasonable standard.

Roll on the CK.

Hi there ^_^

I'm downloading Havok right now, didn't do anathing for Oblivion or NV as I can't use blender and didn't have the patience to learn it, but I'm a proffesional animator at a small game designing studio with Maya, so, as far as I know being havok fulluy compatible with other autodesk products I'll give it a try at doing something, so if any modder would like to have some animations/modelling done I would be more than happy to help :)

Does anyone know how the prospects of BBB are looking like so far?

Any chance we'll get the jiggle to work with some sort of TF2 style jigglebone physics rather than basically hardcoding it into the walk cycle?

This can help animator?

Havok Command Line Tools 1.0

=============================

This packages includes an command line application for converting Havok animation from Skyrim the native format to something that can be manipulated or used as a reference for non-derivative works.

Currently the package only converts from native HKX files built with Havok 2010.2.0 SDK to the XML form of HKX or to the Gamebryo KF file format.

Holy %(*%% Batman!!!!

This is insane. I don't want to get my hopes up too much but with the body work of 2pac and Thor, the proof of concept release of SSKE and this animator......

Heck, we just need Beth to get off their butts and get us the CS and we could be looking at a record for getting sex "in game" for a Beth product :)

Hot Diggety! or some such, I believe is the phrase. This is amazingly good news. Once someone has blazed a trail the path is so much easier. I hope the clever bugger tells us how to do it.

If it is easy to put MMD into Skyrim then that is cheery tidings. MMD is quite a straightforward, intuitive, animation tool as I recall, though I haven't looked at it for a year or more, and not at all confined to dance routines.

when i saw this thread i think i died for a few seconds then my heart started beating again and i must say.... HELL YEAH! :) now i know its possible already ill get to work on my own anims. ill post if i come up with something new!

the russian modder is truely are talented in doing animations for games like skyrim and oblivion.

it must be the first sex animation so far ?

i thought the asian modders are first but well that doesnt matter whos first the main thing is it is work in progress :).

after 2 weeks of release of skyrim , thats really fast ^^

Well what did you Expect.. This is RSV2 he actually created some pretty decent stuff even for new vegas.

I must say, the first sex animation was hilariously stiff.

But, the second was actually well-done, especially with the reacting partner's body.

Still, CaramelDansen is far too old and stale to bring anything good to something as brilliant as Skyrim.

i Wouldnt say that the only dance animation what is work in progress i think he will release something like Dance Sync.

The anims are great even the first anim. i really think it is hard to animate some stuff. so i wouldnt say its bad , maybe it needs some more work , but the first thing on something is always are great.

because his work is the first one in sex animations, well we will see how he works on his really nice work.

If he takes some time i really find that better as getting the anims fast with alot of bugs. so if he take his time at his project he will surely made something really great , who will fans and animators are getting a bit of jealously ;D. just a joke.
