Ryabchick Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Good evening. I have an issue: tattoo are not displaid on my character's body. I can only apply shep tattoos in makeup section, not in a face tattoo tab. I am using cbbe 3ba body with bnp textures. Tried reinstalling racemenu but it didn't help. plugins.txt
Canaduh Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Did you apply any makeup effects in character creation?
anjenthedog Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 What values are you using in SKEE64.ini? There's a section that deals with the number of allowable overlays.

Yes, if you are talking about in-game character creation menu (racemenu). That shep makeup and freckles are displaid normally. Face tattoos (another tab) are not displaid on a character. 47 minutes ago, anjenthedog said: What values are you using in SKEE64.ini? Attached the file if you want to take a look skee64.ini
anjenthedog Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 hmm... nine overlay layers should be plenty. I don't see anything out of the ordinary in your ini file.

Fixed it. Turns out there is a file on racemenu page: Modified Overlay Meshes. Helped to fix the problem. Maybe modifing skee64.ini can also help, if one doesn't want to install that optional file. [Overlays/Data] ; Assigns these alpha properties to all overlays when they are applied ; 4844, 128 is recommended for solid overlays (they will render correctly underwater) ; Changing the overlay's alpha value ingame acts like 4845 regardless of assigned flags iAlphaFlags=4844 ; Default[4845] iAlphaThreshold=128 ; Default[0] 1
anjenthedog Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 (edited) odd, but I'm glad it fixed your problem the value of iAlphaTreshold for me is set at the default (0) in my game, When I tried to set that to 128, (long time ago), the player's skin either went solid black or white (can['t recall but it caused me to set it back to zero) Edited April 15, 2023 by anjenthedog
