Omnishade Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I don't see an option for it anywhere. And what about thirst and sleep? Is there a mod that expands on survival mode to add those things or is there any compatible survival mod?

There are a few mods that expand on it, this is a good one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/78244

So where did you get this info?
Chlodwig Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 In fact you get that Messageafter escaping from helgen. But you can also activate or deactivate it later in the Game Settings. Sleep, Hunger and Cold(Warmth) and I think some new deseases are included into the CC Survival Mode Not sure if there is a mod that adds thirst. But you can get Dirt/need to wash as a mod

Just Don't Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Right. You shouldn't mix needs mods with survival mode. In fact most needs mods will likely override or disable survival things so you don't get overlapping effects. Unless you're using a needs mods that isn't aware of Survival mode (unsupported, outdated, etc.). So if you can't enable Survival mode is hopefully an intended effect from one of your mods. In normal circumstances you only need to wait to have full control over your character (usually after finishing Helgen in a vanilla start or after spawning in the world in an alternate start mod) to see the prompt, and you can change that setting at any time in game settings.

Especially after they function diffrently on how adding negative effects. What I like about the CC Survival Mode is that it adds Cold/Warmth which is a great feature for a Game that plays in a Viking/Scandinavian Setting
belegost Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 (edited) Survival Mode is a lazy half-assed rip-off of Frostfall with half the features and shoddy implementation, made by some talentless hack on Bethesda's commission, back when they first introduced Creation Club and were charging money for it. Basically it was a shameless cash grab that rode off the back of years of Chesko's work. Drop this crap and get Frostfall, still the best survival mod out there despite its age, still working fine and probably the most supported mod of all survival mods that were ever made.
