redrustred Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Does anyone have a good recommendations? The old go to for regular skyrim was SOS, what's everyone using now these days?
Just Don't Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 (edited) SOS Light (2 part install, one of them is for the skin textures, don't forget to install that if you go for this option). Full SOS + Updated dll. Full SOS + DLL+ various skin textures. Full SOS + DLL + HIMBO + any skin texture for SOS. SAM something, can't be bothered to remember the gist of it, site to download or variations. Â Skin textures are optional for SOS full, but recommended. Just make sure you're getting ones made for SOS full, not light or other body types. HIMBO adds BodySlide support so there are presets and you can refit armors to your chosen preset (you can also distribute several presets to different NPCs using OBody or Autobody). And obviously make sure you're installing/placing things in the right order in your mod manager. Having your skin textures loading before SOS full won't work, as well as having the updated dll disabled or placed above the full SOS install. Also you should use XPMSSE for the humanoid skeletons, don't let SOS overwrite XPMSSE files. How you do all of this largely depends on your mod manager of choice, so if you're on Vortex you'll have to create/set rules to load stuff before/after, in MO you place things higher/lower in the left side, in NMM you install them in the order you want and select if you want to overwrite files or not, etc. Edited April 3, 2023 by Just Don't
FauxFurry Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 There is still another variant of HIMBO body, one with extra sliders, Homebrew Mixed High Poly Male SOS.
redrustred Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 So SOS is still the go to? interesting, thanks guys.

JimUpdating Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 sam light, on vectorplexis.com, has a huge variety of clothing options. I have also found that the samson/samuel scaling is less abrupt than the SOS normal vs bodybuilder choice.

If one wants to go from whisker thin to tree trunk or from wide hipped girly boy to the broad shouldered stereotypical alpha male, one can.
Kristus Kringle Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 I use SOS + HIMBO + Slightly Improved Male Penis
