new bbp armor concept

I've had a concept armor in mind , It involves the hard armor types (f/ex ebony.). What I am trying to accomplish is the boobs moving under the plate armor. unfortunately I am new to modding and only have a theory as to how this can be done and am not sure if the game engine will even support it witch involves making the chest piece static through weighting. I have been very busy with life and have had no time or modding lately but would appreciate any help in making this a reality. basically the concept is to make the chest piece static with the breast animation active underneath . My present project is the female falmer armor.

It is my understanding that Skyrim physics works like Oblivion's so it's just a matter of removing the breasts bones weighting from the plate from an already converted armor set. Now keep in mind that theorically, the breast plate is supposed to be strapped and adjusted so that won't happen... You'll also have to re-adjust the size of the cups to prevent boobies from piercing armor.

I moved your thread here btw.

EDIT: Mmm I'm too dumb to find the right section for it, as soon as our Skyrim forum experts are awake this will be solved...

It's possible, doing pretty much what Grumpf said. You don't even need to remove the weighting if you use an armor that doesn't have them, say a vanilla armor or a non CBBE / TBBP armor. You just have to make sure that the part of the armor over the breasts has enough room, or the breasts movement will clip through the armor as you move. You also have to be using proper animations don't forget.

If you would like an example of this, you can check out my Celestial Race, the starting Celestial Knight Armor does this ( and yes I did it on purpose, as a concept just like your idea. No I'm not trying to go " nah nah I already thought of it and did it! " , more of a " great minds think alike " kinda thing :P )

And yes, once done it's actually a really cool looking effect as long as the model of the armor fits the concept, otherwise it will look very strange on many armors.
