(solved) Can't pick a lock with a blindfold on

Hi there,

 

the new Deviously Accessible has Tonilia giving you a blindfold, because hearing and feeling is what matters when lockpicking, you cannot look inside the lock anyway.

Unfortunately, one of my mods blocks Lockpicking when I put on a blindfold "You can't pick a lock with this blindfold on" and for the love of Talos I have no idea which of my many devious mods is responsible. I suspected either DD or DCL but obviously neither is the culprit, as two people confirmed in that thread. Any ideas?

I haven't the faintest idea based on the load order, however provided the message you get is exactly as you wrote it, we could find the appropriate script quite easily by opening a terminal in Skyrim\Data\scripts\source (navigate there in your file explorer and type cmd into the address bar on the top, it will open a terminal in that path), and use the following command:

findstr /i /c:"You can't pick a lock with a blindfold on" *.psc

What this does is to look for the text in all .psc files located in the current folder while ignoring character case, and will list all files that contain this string of text.

Thank you so much! The culprit is a script named DDEO_PreventLockpicking.psc that comes with DD Escape Overhaul.
