Hey guys, I've been facing this issue when I added a couple of new animations to my Skyrim SE, I updated the FNIS behavior files and everything, however, even when I enable them In-game and register them (SLAL showed that it registered them successfully) I still get registered: false whenever I hover over them in the SLAL MCM menu.

I don't know what's causing this issue, please note that I DO have the FNIS XXL mod installed to avoid any CTD.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Make sure they're compatible with the version of Skyrim you're running. I can't recall if any of the LE animations I accidentally installed early on produced that particular response, but I do know they resulted in some pretty weird behaviors on those occasions when they slip by whatever checks are/were in place to prevent them from working in SE.

My first question here would be, did you actually check with something else whether the animations were registered or not? I wouldn't trust a tooltip myself unless I knew it was correct. I mean I don't recall seeing that tooltip myself, for all I know it could be a feature forgotten by the developer and it always says that regardless of whether an animation is registered or not.

Anyhow, in my personal experience, SLAL animation registration only works once. For me at least, if I register all animations, then clear the SL animation cache and register all animations again I get a different number of animations registered in SL. Say for instance 760 on the first run, 730 on the 2nd etc. So basically I never add animations packs mid-playthrough either, even though it should technically be possible, is my understanding. At first I thought it was an issue with pre-installed SL animations but this happens even if I've long since cleared out those pre-installed animations (my SL starts with 0 registered animations).

im having this issue as well, hoping to revive this thread to get a solution.

everthing intsalls fine by the looks of it. everything is showing in the MCM. when i go to register the animations i get the text pop up that they have registered but when running the count animations they stay on the "to register" line and i can keep preessing the register button it will keep saying the animations have been registered.

other animations do work just not the slal ones

i've included the papyrus log let me know if you need anything else.

whenever i search up the issue it just shows the packs not appearing in the SLAL MCM which isnt my issue and the only two threads i can find (this one and another) are dead ends.

any help is appreciated even if it ends up just me being an idiot.

You have over 600 errors about missing scripts and script properties. Those should be cleaned up before you do any kind of serious playthrough of the game.

The reason why your SLAL is broken is because something has unassigned or removed Slots (in sslAnimationFactory) and/or CreatureSlots (in slalAnimationFactory). P+ has a tendency to do stuff like this; P+ is not compatible with SLAL.
