Yeah, to be honest, I don't want every animal character to have accurate dicks. 

Like I prefer to see genital slits on scalies and I would certainly rather see a regular cock on Knuckles than a four-headed one.

I think, especially when it comes to anthro characters, I'm usually fine with just the generic sheath and knot. Maybe have it be spiked if it's a more feline character, but that's about it. Slits only really work if they're erect, and even then you're still missing the best part (the balls). I think there's definitely a fine line between accuracy and appealing.

Thank god there's another furry here to discuss this with though. With how much of a giant Sonic is in the furry porn world, there is not nearly enough knot to go around :(

Personally I agree the balls are a pretty big factor in the appeal section for me, though I dont tend to be too picky between animal types and human for sonic characters that wouldnt have overly odd looking bits (knux for example lol) the line between accuracy and appeal can be wherever depending on the person tho i think right? Knot is a rarity in the sonic fandom tho tbh...though for me Im typically more lost in thought on what colors I prefer when it comes to sonic characters (and sorry for coming out of nowhere i just felt like participating in the conversation a little)

And finally I modified the texture of rouge from the srb2 mod, what do you think? I'm trying to modify its 3D model to make it look better. I already know how to deal with its animations when exporting it to the game, I just need to fix some errors that have my head hurting and that's it.

I know it's not fun that people don't share the same perspective but I rather not have the moderators check this thread for derailment or we'll risk having actual relevant posts being purged like it's collateral damage. I wanted to make some nude mods for Sonic Robo Blast 2 + Kart but due to the nature of .md3 models' vertex animations, it's hard for me to figure out how to carry over my mesh changes to other frames of the animation set because that's like ancient knowledge at this point when modern conventional 3D models just use rigged skeletons for animations instead. Editing those .md3 models is kinda like sprite animation where I have to manually edit every frame which is tedious.

 

So the best I could do is partially expose the characters by editing textures instead.

For Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers, I made Carol from Freedom Planet topless.

I know this isn't exactly a Sonic character but Freedom Planet is like Sonic-adjacent and Carol is officially part of this Sonic fan game's roster so it's close enough.

Take note that I haven't test this in-game because she's an unlockable character that I've yet to unlock.

 

Here's the texture:

Just download the image and replace the original "KCAROL.png" located in "models\KAPL".

Rouge is looking great! Happy to see you working on more srb2 mods. Fantastic work thus far, I know you mentioned that you will eventually do Cream for srb2, but I wonder do you plan on doing Amy as well to round out the main Sonic girls cast?
