cobaltowl Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 How did you manage to create the mod? I tried to open the Midnight Suns pak files with unmodel, but it claims the paks are encrypted. The UnrealPak tool also returns an "Unable to create backend graph" error when trying to extract the assets. Is there a trick to it that I'm missing?
memorydecay Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Anyway we can get a file for just the Hunter nude? I enjoy seeing everyone else in costume, but would love it if my Hunter was nude.

I used the latest umodel x64, not the acl version. The aes key is available on the usual website. Extracted the assets with umodel. Engine version is 4.26. 1
jmedia7 Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Hunter only nude mod. The hunter shares the same base body and swimsuit as captain marvel though. pakchunk99-MidnightsunsHunternude_P.7z 5
Miguelbiersack Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 too incredible although you have to improve the pussy of the girls a little
sazy323 Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Any chance that eventually there will be a way to not have the abbey outfits clip while this is being used? I like having the swimsuits not show, but the rest gets funky. even still great work
Lorphe Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Would be cool to have "redesigned" cropped/skimpy original outfit for mission, and small bikini has swimsuit. 1

So I set the following launch option on steam to start the game directly. "I:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Marvel's Midnight Suns\MidnightSuns\Binaries\Win64\MidnightSuns-Win64-Shipping.exe" %command% Did you replace the meshes with ones that have nipples? Awesome work.

As a test, I've exported and modified a texture, added it to a new project in UE 4.26, packaged the project, compressed the resulting .uasset, .ubulk, and .uexp files into a .pak using the UnrealPak.exe in the UE binaries folder using the same folder structure as the original game, then renamed that to "pakchunk99-texturetext_P.pak" and placed it in the pak folder. The modified texture appears to override the original when I open the folder in umodel, but in-game, it's still using the original. Any idea where I could be going wrong?

Here's my structure: pakchunk99-Midnightsunsnude_P\MidnightSuns\Content\Coda\Character\Biped\HeroicFemale\_Model\_Textures 2
cobaltowl Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Yep, that was it! I'd used the folder structure: "pakchunk99-texturetext_P\Game\Coda\Character\..." since that was how it appeared inside umodel, but switching to "pakchunk99-texturetext_P\MidnightSuns\Content\Coda\Character\..." fixed the issue. Also, a note for anyone else having trouble: I had to switch the compression settings on the texture inside Unreal Engine from "Default (DXT1/5, BC1/3 on DX11)" to "Default (DXT5)" to prevent an in-game crash.

mrjimmy Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Can someone confirm the correct path for placing the mod? \Steam\steamapps\common\Marvel's Midnight Suns\MidnightSuns\Content\Paks\ This was mentioned earlier in the thread, but the mod isn't showing up for me when I create those folders and put it there.
dlombu Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Would be nice if the nude models kept on their accessories like bangles, necklaces, gloves etc. And maybe the shoes.

Hmm, the folder structure should already exist and have .paks in it, this is what mine looks like: In Steam, you can right click on the game and "Manage" > "Browse Local Files" to get started in the right direction. Oh, good to know. I wanted to do some texture edits, but was hitting roadblocks re-packing things as well.

Oh jeez, yeah, it was operator error. Thank you for posting that, though, that helped me see what I did wrong. 1
HManic Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Hello former Midnight Sun's QA here! I literally made an account after my co worker sent me this just to come begging you on my cum stained knees for you to PLEASE include Caretaker in this mod, I understand completely if it's impossible or not worth while but this would be a dream come true to see the one character in that game bootie butt naked on the Abbey floor shaking it for a real one. ? 1
mukuro Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Hello, haven't started the game fully but I saw that there was a big baddy whose looking like she has a body suit. Are there files to make female enemies nude? Not sure if there are any other than the big bad lady herself. (I don't care if there are spoilers for me, but feel free to be general for others). Thanks in advance. 1

Nico replaces her base suit and the sister grim outfit. The female hunter uses the light skin tone, I don't know how to make it work for other skin tones. Not sure if it's a spoiler or not, but later on in the story there's one more playable gal that gets added to the team. Any chance to get her added to the mod?
angryempath Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 @cobaltowl Wanted to pick your brain about something. I'm using Unreal Engine 4.26.2 to try to cook my texture file, but I'm ending up with just a .uasset. Is there another config that I'm missing besides "Default(DXT5)"? I'm not ending up with the 3 files the game uses (.ubulk/.uasset/.uexp).

When I tested it, I imported a .tiff with the default settings by just dragging-and-dropping the file into a subfolder in the game content, switched it to "Default(DXT5)", then packaged it for Windows with (I think) the default packaging settings. I'm pretty sure that produced all three files. 1
