Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mods

I'm sorry it's taking a long time. Work and school take up more time than I'd like. Anyway, I angled the legs just so they can "fit" into the body. So the legs are raised to connect to the body in other words. I'm probably not doing it right so I feel it would look messed up if I ended up testing it. Only reason I think so is because of the skeleton.

I was wondering if I can follow the guide that was provided on the Legends Arceus thread. After extracting the game, I am provided these folders. In the arc folder is a file that is almost 8 GB. I think that's what I have to extract or where everything is. If I do have to extract it, I am unsure how to do that.

You need to use Trinity Mod Loader to extract Scarlet/Violet's assets from their encrypted archives, and to even install mods for this game in the first place.

I can't help you when it comes to actually importing a edited model to this game, it's apparently not as simple.

I've been tinkering with it here and there but time is something that I don't really have. I have little time on the weekends but I have not given up.

Although there is documentation in it, I still don't know how to use it, and I hope someone who understands will have time to teach me a simple tutorial

There is a skirt mod on gamebanana that doesn't work anymore. Does anybody know the reason? I'm importing and reexporting it several ways, and nothing. Or doesn't change the outfit or falls to the ground.

I'm trying to edit pokemon models, but the exporter breaks them. The right one is the model I imported, edited and exported (rotated so you can see both), and the left one is the one that blender exports. It uses the wrong body textures, I think they are the ones from the neck. How can I fix this? I'm trying to export it with different settings, but always ends up in crashes.

Edit: Looks like it lets you edit it a little and then bugs out. No idea if it's on a timer or what. I can erase 500 vertex and it exports well, I can distort the model seemingly all I want and it exports well, but then after a while the exporter just stops exporting the correct... material data? and there is no coming back, no idea why.

I need to fix a couple things (ignore the textures, I was just testing the model), but we'll finally have a skirt with panties, yay! I need to ask the creator of the skirt first before making it public though.

I wish there was an easy semi nude or nude mod i could drop in the mod folder and works. I never got the trinity loader working and i still dont understand it

You can do that in old versions of scarlet and violet (if you don't install any updates, you can do it), but newer versions just can't read files if you don't use a mod loader. Is not that mods are created with trinity in mind, is that all mods need trinity, but some modders use ir before posting the mod. The problem with that is that you can't instal any other mod.

Ok people, I have created a nude mod that can be used with everything (in that you can wear any socks, any outfit, any gloves... with no problem) to use it as a base for clothing. My idea was using the basebody from gamebanana but is completely broken when importing it to blender, so as I needed a base I have modified the one from Jmedia but adapted it to, mostly, the true proportions of the character.

And as I have it, even if I don't really intend on using it like that, if anyone wants it I could post the download. You'll need the one from jmedia too, and place this one lower on the load order so that it reemplaces its files, that way I don't feel like I'm stealing his work (the clothes I create using this won't need it as I'll have to change the name of the textures). Judging from other pokemon forums here I guess there is no problem in posting it? Can anyone confirm?

It's working perfectly ingame, with two main issues: one, wearing socks creates a dark line around the leg. Nothing I can do about that, as removing it means long socks won't show properly. And the other... let's say I have to weight paint a little the lower part of the body so that is not a clear image of the boss from the sewers of DS1 hahaha.

What about the one from the Legends Arceus thread?

That is the one you'll need to download (and remove some files) for this one to work (I'll share it without textures so you have to get them from his mod). The proportions are a little different, and that one has hands and legs, so it's not compatible with everything.

Sorry, I thought you said Legends ZA. What do you mean? That one would be much more difficult to port to scarlet/violet.

Is that why that model never worked? Dang. I've been trying to work with it but I didn't have the time.

I tried to do something comparable with what you tried in legends AZ and just gave up. You can do it (not the way you tried though hahaha), but it's so much work. First of all, the skeleton is almost certainly not the same, so you'd first have to rig it with one from scarlet. For that you'd have to correctly import a model (the ones in scarlet use a base skeleton and a second one for each outfit, and you need to have everuthing exported from trinity and wiith the correct folder hyerarchy for blender to be able to import and export them. You can't imagine how much time I spent until I figured that out), and then import the one from legends arceus. Unrig it and rig it to the scarlet skeleton (maybe it's enough to change a couple names from the bones? no idea). Once you have done that, try to export it using the skeleton from the outfit you want to replace and the base scarlet skeleton, if it works (it probably won't hahaha), test ingame (it will probably crash because the names are not the ones the game expects so you'll have to change them). If everything works, then spend hours trying to get the textures to work hahaha. It's trial and error.

What I can tell you is that moving the legs like you did in that first post from this page is completely wrong. Looking at everything you did, you should have cut the legs much lower and then make them fit the ones from scarlet, like I did with that model.

I'm going to post just the model, that way it shouldn't be problematic, and I'll keep editing that post to add every version I make, so you can choose the one you prefer (won't have photos ingame for obvious reasons). But in the case the post gets removed, I'm going to add here the instrucions COMPLETELY OUTDATED, GO TO PAGE 10

You need to download the mod from jmedia that is in the "Pokemon Hacks/games?" subforum (someone posted a reply here to that post and got deleted). Then, open the zip and remove every subfolder from the model_pc folder except for the uniform folder (and the schoolsneakers folder if you want to be able to walk barefoot). Open the uniform folder and insert my files (don't remove anything).  Then just install it through trinity. I need to change the base feet textures for the game so that they merge correctly to this mod's colours, I'll try to do it today and post it (just the leg textures) as a mod.

I don't know if I'll have time this weekend to complete the skirt outfits, but I'll probably remove the "perverted parts" for any future update of the base model as I need it to have underwear and don't really want to keep two separate sets of models. I'll test it more ingame, but as parts of the player model disappear when getting too close to walls, maybe I can leave the base body (with underwear) to be seen when too close to walls? I need to test if that's possible (even though is probably a bug from the emulator).
