Use a mod manager which supports FOMODs, or read the module config file from the fomod folder to find out what's mandatory (but really, don't turn yourself into a FOMOD parser, use a tool made for that... a mod manager). 1

I've been using mods for more than 7 years now, and only today did I finally realize how you're actually supposed to install mods outside of nexusmods

Vortex auto-detects FOMODs, so I forget that MO2 users need to sort that out at installation time.

It's a FOMOD package, so use a FOMOD-capable mod manager like MO2 or Vortex to install the ZeX-V6.zip file you've downloaded. I don't use MO2 but I understand you have to explicitly tell it to treat the file as a FOMOD package rather than a simple archived file tree. If you use Vortex it will just figure that out on its own. There are no requirements for this mod, but it only provides skeleton data and doesn't really do anything on its own. It's a requirement for some popular body replacer mods like Fusion Girl and BodyTalk. Edited April 24, 2023 by vaultbait

adurvp28 Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 hoping anyone can help me. i dont know it this was the problem but i changed from extended skeleton 5 to 6 and after that the penises on males get pull making textures look broken. ex: scene is happening on the floor but penis can look backwards and in front of male or can stay floating in the air (most common), i dont remember how to fix this. I have cbbe, bodytalk3, discrete female skeleton, extended 6, with 5 i corrected the problem time ago but i dont remember how to.

For future references here I managed to fix the problem time ago but first: I was using BLD mod (better locational damage) which has a lot of plug-ins, this plugins were overwriting my discrete female skeleton (that has to be all the way down to make zex and ccbe work together) so bld were getting read 1st instead of DFS So i fixed it like this: 1 out of scareness I returned to zex 5 instead of updating to 6 (might not have changed anything but made me feel safer) 2 I erased BLD and everything started to work fine again but realized an optional step IF you have mods that have to be all the way down (like BLD or MAIM) (scrap everything doesnt affect the DFS reading even tho SE has to be down also) 3 (optional to last 2 steps) I flagged my DFS mod as a dynamic patch as im using vortex (this makes it go all the way down without affecting mods that also have to be way down (like BLD or MAIM) I changed bld for maim on my mods and have no issues by using this optional step.

There are no functional changes between 5 and 6, just repackaging to add optional support for SAM (and those new files won't even be installed if you don't turn them on in the FOMOD installer menu anyway). Upgrading shouldn't break anything, but on the other hand I wouldn't bother unless you're using SAM.

Most mod authors I know (myself included) are waiting for working F4SE and fundamental mods with DLL extensions to get updated first so we can test the rest properly. At a minimum, OCBP is probably going to need an update, so ZeX-based body replacers won't have working physics until that happens anyway. 2

I'm getting constant, consistent skeleton.nif crashes, so I know I've done something wrong somewhere. Does anyone have any similar experience?

In my case, it selects the characters, so the end result tends to be rather inoperable... Esélyes, hogy a csontváz elavult? Game version will be 1.10.163 with AE content. And skeleton works fine
