Can't switch outfits?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I started toying around with New Vegas again after talking about it a lot with a friend of mine, and now I'm having a fairly minor (but annoying nontheless) issue. I got myself a Handyman Jumpsuit (the red one) and equipped it to see what it looked like on my character. The problem now is, I can't get rid of it! Whenever I swap armor the armor goes on top of the jumpsuit. I have -no idea- what's doing this. The item is clearly unequipped in my inventory, but ti's still on me! Anyone ever experience this before?

Load order, load order, load order.  We can't troubleshoot crap without seeing it.  We can randomly guess if that is what you want but little else.  Give us a link to the plugin that the "handyman jumpsuit" came from as well.  My suspicion is that it overwrote your default body mesh and\or textures and this is what is screwing things up.  Could be a scripted deal as well, hard to say.

I have a similar issue on some personal meshes. I modified an existing (and working) mesh on Blender and probably I did some mistake: when I unwear them, some parts remain visible on my player and only a reload fixes it. I'm almost sure it's a problem with the mesh itself.

it is a mesh issue, there's one popular armor replacer that has the issue, pretty sure its type 3m, but in the update section there's a file called jumpsuit fix, that well.....fixes the jumpsuit, so i would go back to wherever you got your armor replacer for that particular outfit and look for a fix file, because i had the exact same issue until i used the fixed mesh
