Love the mod been using it for years....can I have permission to post a mod here on LL that modifies Nayyira?  I created a mod that gives her a small quest after rescuing her.  This is my first mod so I am hoping that I can get feedback to see if it works at all....

Yes you can. Their bodies are TBD at the moment so there might be a little differences with armor and such or you can change their body meshes manually to 3ba by replacing the body mesh in data/meshes/bianca/body. But otherwise it'll work just fine with 3ba. In the next update coming in July they'll have new 3ba bodies as I'm currently switching everything over to 3ba.

You don't need Touched by Dibella, just need the Zaz 8.0+ CBBE HDT 2023 animations. You can find them here and get the one circled near the bottom of the mod page.

Does anyone have a house mod recommendation for collecting maidens/wenches?
As an example, I am currently using Skystone Castle and Silverpeak Lodge, they are pretty good but I would like to see what other players are cooking with.

depends on what you want, i like hjertesten hall, its a village where you can assign roles (and houses by role) where they will go about their assigned villager npc package throughout the day when not following you.  I also like Lone Wolf manor near riverwood, its similar style to silverpeak but not as over the top (i like using this house as a high end brothel when i use paradise halls and its addons HSH and AYGAS).  Both houses can be found on nexus

 

 

Other than that i rescue and place them with MHIYH or NFF and give them daily routines using those mods, so i might place say ladaria in haelga's bunk house to sleep at using nff, have her work at balimunds forge during the day, and relax at the bee n barb (doesnt fit her thematically, thats why this is just an example).   I spent so much time in fallout 4 building settlements (like way too much time) that i kind of try to replicate the npc behavior in skyrim and keep it more loreish friendly.  I dont think of oh im gonna drop them at this house and have them wander around, im like oh this follower is an orc, lemme go drop them at an orc settlement etc.  So its more of where i think it makes sense for them to be

In future there is going to be a 3BA conversion patch no? It would be nice if al the followers used my default installed body so that all my custom armours fit as expected

The update I'm working on I'm switching bodies to 3ba. Should be out next month if all goes well.

i've searched the whole support thread at least three times over, and nowhere do i see anything about pete just straight up not existing. not that he isn't there; he doesn't show up period, i get nothing when i do "help unlucky" or if i do "help "unlucky pete"" either. i saved the funclist to see if i could get the ID that way; nothing. searching pete gets me no results

 

i already re-installed manually, removed it from vortex and unzipped into the game mods folder and nothing changed, the mod doesn't show up in the SIS (simple item spawner) menu, it seems like it's completely broken for absolutely no reason. (also semi-unrelated, disabled yuriana and started a new game to see if that would have an effect and it made every npc in the game T pose, unable to move except for me. i was in T pose tho, and re-enabling fixed that even tho it was a new game without yuriana at all)

 

but i seriously cannot find pete whatsoever, i've spent probably 3 days trying to figure this out- searching the thread, checking files, looking to see if i've missed him and nothing. 

what suggestions do you have? or is this a known issue that can be fixed? i've had your mod downloaded for a while now, but it only occured to me this week that i still hadn't actually seen any of it yet. 

 

could it be that there are conflicts with your other mod? i'm also using lilith maidens, which is working totally fine (altho all my followers are cowards, confidence gets reset to 0 everytime and i can't forceav, just says "actor value "confidence" cannot be modified using script or console" even tho setav works fine, at least til i die; again tho 90% sure that's unrelated) but all of the books are there, they spawn in fine, and when i fix the confidence they act as they should. i'm beyond lost on how to solve this, and was putting off leaving a comment cuz i feel like i'm necroposting. is this a known/simple fix? or is this something we'll need to troubleshoot to figure out?

 

edit: i should also mention that vortex had 0 issue with lilith whatsoever, as well as there not being any visible conflicts between the two.

A few updates back Bethesda revamped how searches function in console command menu. Anything your looking for now requires a 0 (zero) after it.

 

Wow, their confidence is 0?! They should be foolhardy. Are the mods at the very end of load order? That may help with conflicts which there shouldn't be any. What follower mod do you use? Nether's, AFT, etc. 

Have you updated skyim or using an older version?

yes, i'm typing it in like that; as i said he just isn't there period, i did "save funclist 1" to get all the active I.D's and he isn't in them. and yes EVERYONE'S confidence is at 0, wenches from yuriana all have 0 confidence as well as the other follower mods i've got: daedric bitchs, daedric descendants, angelic misalo, and one other mod; i think it's my follower framework but i'm not 100% sure yet, still trying to figure that one out but i'm getting closer to it. 

 

i haven't updated it, i'm on... i think 1.6.1170, so yea it's a little older but every mod i download that's meant for 1.6.640 works for my version, it's very rare that they don't. and i'm using vortex, so "load order" isn't really too much of a thing, at least that i can find but yes i'm loading yours after anything else it could have conflicts with. oh sorry, i just saw you asked about the follower mod, i'm using MFF because nether's is limited to 10 and that really bothered me- i still have nff installed and enabled, but i don't acc use it.

Wow, yeah it's definitely not reading the mod. 🤔
Which download of the mod did you get in the downloads? I wanna double check some things just to be double sure.

As a side note, I also have an update for the mod coming out in a few weeks that might work better for you

tried double checking it to be sure, but it says version 1.0.0a in vortex and the file itself. not sure how or why, i downloaded the top one like it says in the installation instructions and i've noticed you talking about versions well above that, it never clicked that that's the one i'm getting; thats also the same version i got when i tried to redownload it for some reason, not really sure what to do about that- who's side that issue might've come from, but ask any questions needed, dunno if anyone else is having this issue or not but i wanna solve this for others as well as myself. happy to help however i can; i should add though, vortex DOES read the mod- it just seems like skyrim itself isn't, even though i tried re-installing it into the folders directly. 

 

i've heard talk of things like "esp overflow" or something along those lines, never really understood it but i do have over 330 mods in my load order currently. i hate to ask cuz i know you're busy, but if you could walk me through what that is and how to manage it we can see if that's what it is, it seems plausible to me altho again, i don't know how that works; i don't think i've ever run into that issue before unless it literally just means there's too many esp files so skyrim won't read any extras beyond 256. 

 

beyond that, again i'm happy to help troubleshoot however i can- i really can't think of what else it could be unless the version i'm getting is just the wrong one, which again seems plausible but i feel like there should be SOMETHING regardless of the version that i'm on, but again if it's just not reading the mod then that would be why there isn't. i'm pretty lost, hopefully your knowledge of these things gives you some actual ideas instead of me just rambling about possibilities. again: version says 1.0.0a, it also did when i redownloaded.

When it comes to ESP overflow you want to keep an eye on total "active plugins." If this # goes over 254 either A. It will not work at all or B. Create oddities such as overwriting mods or original game files, crashing loops, and infinite load screens.

It should say somewhere on your mod manager, vortex, etc. How many you have active.
Exp:

am about to do that; went and checked my plugins, at 246 altogether and half-ish are light- but for whatever reason, the ESP was disabled, again. i went and looked a little while back and saw it was disabled, and i turned it back on to see if it was just that causing it but it disabled itself again. any reason that would happen? 

 

note- the ESP shows that it's the same one already, it's got the (1) at the end of it showing i've already downloaded it. went and grabbed it a little while ago from the bottom of the downloads to check and see if that was why it was disabled, guess not. still gonna replace it and see what happens, but i don't expect much. just replaced it, lets see... 

 

another note before actually booting up the game, the ESP says it's missing masters when i look at the plugins. little notification bell, thats probably part of why it's not staying active but how or why it's missing masters, i don't know. i never messed with any of the mod files or anything, just unzipped it into the mods folder manually when i redownloaded. does the mod have any requirements i might've missed? it's also placing itself at #69 in the load order for some reason, i've got the rules set to load it after any possible conflicts (yuriana, idk what else- maybe some body models?) how can i change the actual load order of the mods in vortex? all i've figured out are the rule sets, so that's a bit upsetting bc i'd like to avoid switching installers. 

 

(totally unrelated and unimportant, just mildly irritating)

booting game up now, just waiting for the error msg- which i guess i could ask you since i'm here, for some reason the mod quickloot keeps finding something called "lootmenu" in the files even though i deleted it in any folders it was in, so i need to wait for that to show up since quickloot doesn't use lootmenu anymore; i set "SkipOldSwfCheck" to true in the code but it didn't make any difference so i've just gotta click no when it asks me if i wanna close the game to fix it. any thoughts on that?

 

game is booted, did "save funclist 1" again and pete doesn't show up. went to the abandoned prison to see if that might've been why he didn't show up (idk, i'm not smart when it comes to this stuff) and still nothing. the ESP does show that it's still enabled after startup though, so i'm not really sure why it's shutting itself off. it's happened with a couple other mods, don't remember which ones but it's never really had an effect on anything (at least that i've noticed) could it be doing that since the game isn't reading the mod? 

 

oh my god i'm an idiot. when you asked which version i was getting, i was looking at lilith. THATS 1.0.0a. maidens of darkness is 1.1.0c. can't believe i did that, sorry. yea. never realized, maybe that'll give a little extra insight on the issue, maybe it just means i'm oblivious; either way, thats the actual mod's version. 

 

i think that's it... also sidenote- sorry i say so much everytime, just trying to be as informative as possible with each comment.
