Well, here's a quick update. I finished all of "Kasumi"'s sprites, and am working on "Sumire"'s. Here are some images (the "sumire" one took forever because she doesn't have this sprite in the first place, had to mess with the hair to get it looking good):

When can you show videos of the nude mods running I mean I dont mean to be hasty but there is literally alot of nude mods yet there are no videos of gameplay with the nude mods??? I mean I dont know if thats ur thing but how come no one has ever done it.

Well, I'm no longer working on the mod for now... because I finished it. If you installed the old ones, it's probably best to replace them. Place whichever ones you'd like into your Aemulus's Packages folder. The ones labeled [ADD ON] do not contain models, and the ones that aren't do not contain sprites. IF YOU WANT BOTH SPRITES AND MODELS, INSTALL BOTH A MODEL PACK AND A SPRITE ADD-ON. For package priority, place the add-ons in higher priority. I'm also including the assets I used for the sprites in a separate download (assets.zip) for those who want to use them in their own mods. If you decide to use them, all I ask is that you credit me. Remember that this mod is made for the Nintendo Switch version of the game (it's the version I own). Well... here you go.

Sure. For editing 3D Models, I used Blender and installed the BlenderToolsForGFS, which allow you to import/export .GMD files. You kind find them here: https://www.blender.org/ https://github.com/Pherakki/BlenderToolsForGFS/releases/tag/v0.1

 

For editing the textures, I used GIMP https://www.gimp.org/ , and reapplied them to the model using GFD Studio. https://github.com/tge-was-taken/GFD-Studio/releases/tag/0.6.2
 

For editing the sprites, I once again used GIMP to actually edit them, used Amicitia https://github.com/tge-was-taken/Amicitia/releases to import/export the files, and used an online dds to png converter to actually use the exported files. https://www.aconvert.com/image/dds-to-png/

Good question. I’m gonna assume yes, but I don’t use an emulator, I use my own modded switch, so I don’t know how well it would work. From what I’ve seen, Yuzu doesn’t allow skyline mods, and this isn’t one. So, to answer your question, probably.

Whoops! Yeah, there was a crash that happened every time you opened the menu and went to the equip screen. Here's your fix. Again, replace the folder in Aemulus.

I'm going to be editing my old posts when I have new files now, so maybe it'll be easier to find. The portrait add ons are unchanged, but I'm including them here so you can find them easier.

As my own form of science/research, I tried seeing if I took the finished sprites and made them into a mod for P5R for PC - if they would work. They did not. The sprites were too small, and the basic form of the sprite was up and to the left of where it should have been, while the animated mouth/eyes were in roughly the position they should have been given the size of the sprites.

Just letting others know this won't work as-is for PC, to no one's surprise. I'm unfortunately too modding incompetent to fix this problem.

If someone gave me the bustup files, I could probably do it again for PC. I just don’t have the PC version or an understanding of Reloaded II, P5essentials, and the PC version’s file system. I recently ported that mod to switch, it was originally a pc mod (oh no my gamebanana is here now) and other than the official bustup that wasn’t replaced, it’s not… quite right.

 

Its loading a picture twice the size of the original, so although it’s loaded at the same spot, it doesn’t work. So you’d have to either redo it for pc (which I can do if I had the files) or upscale the image, which won’t look good.

since persona 3 remake is going to be on unreal engine, would that mean that it is also easier to mod? It seems that games using unreal engine usually get the most mods on average compared to other games

In terms of model mods, definitely easier, and UE usually allows for day 1 modding capability instead of waiting for tools. As long as atlus didnt make a custom build of UE which I doubt they did.
