reapseh0 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 I have followed the entire guides three times now and I keep getting the same errors. skee64.dll: disabled, incompatible with the game Sexlabutil.dll only compatible with versions earlier than 1.6.629. For reference, I have Skyrim: SE and used the correct link to download the framework. Multiple guides, scrubbing the game, reinstalling everything by hand, nothing works. All other mods from vortex work fine.
Gukahn Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Because: ✅ SKSE has updated for 1.6.640, however it comes with breaking changes. Plugin authors will need to update their mods - even the ones based on ✅ Address Library. Bethesda did it again ? Have fun waiting or downgrade to an older version and see if its works https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618 No promises tho. Haven't had to use it for a long Time
Arizona_Steve Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 It's being worked on. Hang in there.
reapseh0 Posted September 27, 2022 Author Posted September 27, 2022 Ah, much appreciated, I was worried it was my fault. Odd that my SKSE still says it's out of date. Thanks for the link, I'll follow that page.

Just Don't Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 (edited) You need to downgrade to a stable version, get all your mods and SKSE for that version, then avoid further updates until you're 100% certain all your mods are compatible with later versions. There isn't a one click fix here. But if you disable updates and downgrade now, you'll have a way better foundation to mod henceforth than if you keep getting automatic updates, see how your modded game breaks and wait around or make these threads asking for solutions.
